James' PoV

First Alice's black eye and now my bruise, Rechelle is like a little chihuahua, small but vicious. That girl is crazy.

Dani got me an ice pack and I pressed it onto my face, a wave of relief flooded over my bruise. Why had she done it? I wasn't being rude to Makayla was I?

"She's just hurt." Alice said. "But she broke up with me!" I contradict. she starts stroking my bruise and says, "Don't worry. Girls are just dramatic." She responds. I sigh.

"Do you know Sandy?" I ask. "That's a little random but yeah, she was my roomate before Rechelle." She responds. "She's my neighbor, not here but at home." I say. "I'm a little confused, what does she have to do with anything?" She looks thoroughly confused. "She might be able to help us, she's lived the pampered life of a full payer." I say.

"What's going on through Rechelle's mind?" I ask Sandy, I decided not to bring Alice because someone would probably get a black eye, and it wouldn't be Alice this time.

"What do you mean?" Sandy asked. "Why did she give me this." I point at the bruise on my cheek. "I don't know she's been acting a little weird lately." Sandy says.

"What do you mean?" I ask. "If she ever talks to me anymore it's about Makayla, or making up with Alice. She doesn't talk about herself anymore."

"But why is she hurting us?" I question fingering the bruise. "I don't know, maybe she just feels threatened." She responds. I say goodbye and she hugs me.

It's Monday morning and I try to talk to Rechelle during math but she just sticks her nose up in the air and looks away.

"She's even worse than Sandy!" I exclaim at my lunch table it's early March and the snow is beginning to melt just a little bit.

"Don't worry." Dani says. "Why?" I ask. "She's not your problem." He replies. "But she slapped me!" I say. "That's not your problem." He replies. "But..." I stop there's no use playing the blame game.

Maybe I should let it go, but maybe I shouldn't.
