Felix's POV

It's monday. School again. I woke up half an hour earlier today than I do everyday. And for the first time in the last year, I'm excited to go to school. I put in a little extra effort to look good today. Don't ask.

I get ready, go downstairs, have breakfast and leave for school. I pick up Claire on my way.

I increase the volume of the radio and I start humming along to it.

"Okay, dude. What's up with you?" Claire asks as she puts down her bag on the lap. What's up with me? Why?

"Why? What's wrong?" I ask her.

"You are overly happy today. And I haven't seen you like this since-" I suddenly look at her knowing what she is talking about and when she sees my expression, she stops herself and then says "never mind. So tell me, what's going on?"

"Nothing is going on" I tell her. She gives me a look.

"I swear nothing is going on. I'd tell you guys if something was. Even I don't know why I'm happy today" I say. I really don't know but I think I have a hunch. Maybe I'm looking forward to talking to Felicity.

I mean I did like our conversation the other day.

I'm done with AP Bio and algebra and now I'm on my way to chemistry. And that means, I get to sit with Felicity.

I enter the room and this time I don't have to search for her. She's sitting right where we were sitting last time. I look at her and approach her. She sees me coming and smiles at me. Wow.

"Hey" I say while sitting down. She stops writing what she was and says "hi"

"I heard that our siblings enjoyed themselves at the playdate" I say.

"They did. Affinity was telling me that your brother taught her how to draw an elephant" she says and then laughs. I laugh too.

"When can we have a playdate?" I ask before realising what it sounded like. She widens her eyes at me and looks away.

"I- I didn't mean it like that. I meant that you were late for Claire's that day so we couldn't go to Abizza's. So do you maybe wanna go today?" I ask her. I'm beyond nervous that she's gonna say no.

"Are you trying to ask me out on a date?" she asks biting her lip nervously. Is she gonna say no if I agree. No, I can't risk that.

"No, no. It's nothing like that. I just want you to try her food. You are new in the group and you have never been there so" I say and she nods trying to think about it. Say yes. Say yes.

"You can bring your brother and Summer if you want" I say just to try to get her to say yes.

"Okay, sure. Fran won't come because the coach is gonna tell him his final decision today about being in the team but I can ask Summer" she says. I nod.

Summer, please don't say yes.

"Oh, I just remembered. I have dance try-outs for ten minutes after school. Are you okay waiting till then?" she asks me and tucks some of her hair behind her ear.

"Yeah, no problem. Who knows, maybe I'll watch you dance" I smirk and wink at her.

She laughs a little, nods her head and looks in the other direction.

After chemistry we went to physical education. Felicity and I have that together as well. We didn't talk much their though. I'm on my way to french right now and I see Jenny talking to Summer in the hallway.

I walk up to them. On seeing me Jenny says "Hey Fel. What's up?"

"Hello ladies. Hey Summer, I need another favour" I tell her.

"From me?" she asks and raises her eyebrow.

"Yeah. I kind of need you to say no when Felicity asks you if you can come with us to Abizza's with us" I say to her while leaning against the lockers.

"What's Abizza? And why? Do you wanna go on a date or something?" she asks me after laughing at my request.

"It's a restaurant owned by my step-brother's grandma and no, it's not a date. It's just that she wouldn't have said yes if I hadn't said that she could invite you" I explain.

"Do you like her or something?" Jenny asks me and starts laughing as well looking at my helplessness.

"No. No, I don't like her. Just- just please say no when she asks you" I say. Summer laughs again but finally says "Fine"

Felicity's POV

I'm on my way to the school's dance studio, yes they have a dance studio, when a tall, blonde and gorgeous girl stops me in my way.

"What do you think you're doing?" she asks me. What? Who is she?

"Excuse me?" I say in confusion.

"Stop. Flirting. With. Felix" the girl says. What the hell is going on?

"I am not flirting with anyone and even if I was, it would've been none of your business" I say and start moving forward when she stops me again.

"You should listen to me Felicity" she says. She definitely isn't as gorgeous as I thought she was. And how does she know my name?

"Who are you, exactly?" I ask her crossing my arms over my chest.

"My name is Brynn. Brynn Thompson" she says. Aaah! This is Brynn. She is kind of just the way the guys described her as. She continues "and you may wanna steer clear of me"

"Yeah? Then I'm gonna do just that" I say and start walking. If she has a problem with Felix, she has to solve her shit with him. I am not gonna entertain her.

Felix's POV

I have been waiting for twenty minutes now. So being the impatient person I am, I start walking towards the dance studio.

I am about to enter the room when my feet stop themselves when I see Felicity dancing. When I see her moving to the tunes of Always Midnight. The way she's letting the song take control of her body and her movements makes me wanna sit here and watch her for hours. I don't understand contemporary very much but I can definitely see the rawness in her dance.

God, I'm feeling like a creep.

But I can't take my eyes off of her. She looks beautiful.

I should go before she catches me looking at her. I'll loose the very new friendship I have with her in just two days.

So I do just that. I go back to my car and wait for her like nothing happened.
