Dylan's POV (11 months ago)

"Hey Melissa. Felix just fell asleep. You gonna be okay?" I ask Melissa as I come downstairs from Fel's bedroom.

John's death has really been hard on him. Especially because it happened so suddenly. We were gonna meet at Felix's granddad's penthouse to throw a party for the game we had won the last night. I hadn't reached the penthouse yet when my dad called me to the hospital. John had already passed. And Felix wasn't in a good condition. Car accident? How did that happen? John had a driver and no one has seen him since the accident. Am I the only one confused? But then again, this isn't the right time for anyone to think about that.

"Oh. Can you stay the night here? I am going out" she says and then I notice that she's wearing good clothes. The going-to-impress a guy clothes. So when I give her a look, she answers.

"I'm going out on a date"

"Melissa. It's your life but it's just been two months. Are you even over it yet? And how do you think Fel will react when you tell him you're dating again?"

"I know that Dylan. But I need to move on and so does he"

"Well, again. It's your life so" I say and then continue to ask "can I ask who it is?"

"Frank"

"Who Frank? Wait- your boss?"

"Yes"

"I'm judging you right now"

" Look I am gonna tell Felix when I go on the third or fourth date" she explains. There are going to be more? I'm out of here.

Felix's POV (Present Time)

We all decided last night that we all would be wearing white t-shirts and black bottoms. I'm getting major waiter vibes from what I'm wearing right now.

The bake sale hasn't started yet. We are setting it all up right now.

"Hey Felicity" I say and when she turns around and looks at me I go ahead and ask her "what flavour do you think I should put up in the first line? Red velvet? White chocolate or Coffee?"

She smiles at me and says "you should ask Claire"

"Yeah but she's helping Isaac and Fran with cookies. Come on" I say and pout.

"Well why don't you just put one of each. That way people will know we have variety and we won't have to repeat the options" she suggests.

"Hmm. Why didn't I think of it?"

"Because sometimes you hate thinking" she says, pokes me in the chest and gets on with removing the cheesecake from the container.

"Here. Let me help you with that" I say and take a step forward. I take the container from her hands and our fingers brush lightly. We look at each other for a second.

"Can I taste this before tomorrow? You're gonna bring the cobbler anyway. Not the cheesecake" I ask her.

"Well I was gonna bake a cheesecake as well and bring it because you said you wanted it the other night but yeah no problem. You can have it here so that I won't have to bake another" she says and shrugs her shoulders. What?

"What? No no no no. I won't eat it today. Bring it tomorrow please?" I say keeping the cheesecake down.

She looks at me seriously for a second and then starts laughing.
