Felicity's POV

We've been playing for the past ten minutes. So far it's been all the silly things. Everyone's had their first kiss, everyone has peed in a pool except for Jenny, everyone has made out in a public place except for me and Summer and everyone has failed at least one of their classes last year except for Summer and many more things.

"Isaac, it's your turn" Summer tells him after taking a sip of her drink after the last round.

"Okayy. Never have I ever shoplifted" Isaac says. I have. I just don't wanna explain why. Should I take a sip? If I do, will they ask me about it?

I see Fran taking a sip so I go ahead and take a sip too.

"Come on Fel, your turn" Isaac says to Felix. Felix nods and looks at me. He's thinking about something.

"Never have I ever been on a real date" he says looking directly at me. I gulp nervously still looking at him. I bring the drink to my lips and take a sip. So does everyone, except Felix.

"You've never been on a real date before?" I ask out of curiosity.

"Nope. His ex girlfriend was kind of a bitch. I mean she was nice before. She was our friend. But then one day she got a call from a modelling agency and she changed. And she took my sister down that road with her. And when Felix's-"

"Yeah, that's enough information Isaac" Felix interrupts Isaac from completing his story.

"Wait. Is that the girl who was in the washroom with you before?" Summer asks Felix.

A girl? Not that I expected it to be a guy. What? What's wrong with me?

"You were with Brynn?" Jenny yells taking her arm off of my shoulder.

"What the hell dude! After what she did to you? How could you?" Isaac yells too.

"Okay guys. Can I speak now?" Felix yells louder than the both of them. They both go silent and indicate him to speak.

"I wasn't with her. She was very much buzzed so I just took her to the bathroom and I was trying to clean her up" Felix explains. That was nice of him. Maybe he still likes her. Or maybe he was just being nice.

"So how did Summer meet her?" Fran asks.

"She just happened to be there at the right time" he says and looks at Summer and says "thanks for that by the way. Who did you leave her with anyway?"

"Um, her best friend I think. Didn't tell me her name" Summer says.

"And that would be my sister, Chloe" Isaac says in a frustration.

"So, Isaac's step-sister is Chloe who is the best friend of Brynn who is Felix's ex girlfriend and you all used to be friends?" Summer asks all of them.

God, so much drama. Well at least this is the drama that actually should be a drama at our age.

"Yes. But then Brynn and Chloe were way too good of friends for Chloe to realise how much Brynn has changed. And then she didn't even realise that she has changed too" Isaac explains.

I feel like I should speak.

"So how do you guys live together then?" I ask Isaac. It's hard for me to understand a sibling bond that isn't like me and Fran.

"Well, we used to fight a lot before but then for the sake of the house we decided that we won't talk about school and friends in the house" Isaac says. Wow.

Fran, Summer and I give him an eyebrow-raised look.

"Odd. I know" Isaac says and laughs. And on cue, we all laugh.

"Hey guys, I'm having another soda. You guys need anything?" I ask them while getting up. And they all mutter out their desired drinks at the same time. I must look very confused right now.

Felix gets up and I look at him questioningly.

"What? I'm coming with you. There's no way you can carry all of these drinks and not fall along with them" he says smirking.

I sigh and nod to myself.

"My excitement about seeing you tonight was valid. You look great" Felix says as we enter the kitchen. I laugh and say "thank you"

Someone is already taking drinks out so we wait near the dining table.

"So, where did you move here from?" he asks me resting his arm on the table.

"Um" I hesitate a little. This is exactly the reason I shouldn't be with new people alone. But just telling the city won't make him go up there and do a research on me, would it?

"I have always lived in Sacramento. Then I moved to London for a little while but then we moved back to Sacramento" and that was the biggest mistake of our lives. I think to myself.

"Wow. London, huh? But Sacramento isn't that far from here. Why would you guys want to move such a short distance?" he asks not knowing that there's a whole different story to the question he asked.

I don't know what to say. Why did we? A fresh start? From what? But if I don't answer something, he's gonna realise there's something I'm hiding. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I mean I've just met him a week ago, there are a lot of things that I might be hiding even if I was just a normal girl. I'm pretty sure he has things to hide too. What do I say?

"Hey, I didn't mean to pry. I'm sorry" he says seeing that I'm not so keen on answering that question. At least he understands privacy.

"Well, enough about me. Have you always lived here?" I ask him.

"Yup. My whole life. My mom is from New york but my dad had always lived here" he says. Had?

"Had?" I ask him slowly.

He looks at me for five seconds and then answers "Yeah, my dad died last summer"

I just looked at him. I had no idea. But he probably doesn't wanna hear 'I'm so sorry to hear that'. I am sorry to hear that but I'm taking him for the kind of the guy who doesn't want anyone's apologies. So, instead I ask "how are you and your mom holding up?"

He suddenly looks up from his hands and looks at me.

"Well, you already know the fact she married someone else and he has a son who is friends with your sister" he says.

"And you?" I ask tilting my head a little.

"I am okay, I think. You know, history is history right?" he asks me and looks straight into my eyes.

I smile at him.

"It never is"
