Felix's POV
I am getting ready to go bowling with Felicity right now. I'm nervous. Like crazy. And this is not even a date. I wasn't nervous when I took her to Abizza's because she didn't know my whole story then. She knows now.
But today I don't wanna talk about me. For the past week, we've been getting along really well but I still don't know anything about her. I wanna know what she's like. When she's not with me.
I know she dances. I know she loves her siblings. I know she doesn't drink. I've realised that she's a reserved person. Even though she does talk to all of us, she doesn't really talk. She just replies. Or talks about us. And I also know that she's hiding something.
Although there is one personal thing she did share with us. Her ex-boyfriend. I haven't known Felicity for long but long enough to know that she is a really nice person. And beautiful. How did that bastard cheat on someone like her?
***
I'm waiting outside the bowling alley. We discussed the meeting place and everything else in school yesterday. I still think I should've picked her up because she doesn't really know all the locations yet but she didn't let me.
I see a white car truck approaching me and when I squint my eyes to see who it is, I see Francis. The car stops infront of me and Felicity gets down and smiles at me. She waves Francis goodbye, looks at me and says "hey"
"Hi" I smile at her.
"Let's go?" she asks.
"Ya" I say and we start walking.
"Do you know how to bowl?" I ask her.
"Know? I bet you I can beat your ass at it" she says smirking at me. Woah.
"Oh, really?" I ask her while we're waiting in line at the counter.
"I am quite good at bowling. I used to bowl a lot in London" she tells me.
"And what else did you do in London?" I ask her hoping she'll open up a little to me.
"Let's see. I wasn't there for very long. I just had two friends back there who I've totally lost contact with. I started cooking there. And before I could even get the hang of their accent, we moved back to Sacramento so not much" she says and the counter guy gives us two coupons.
"So you say you're good at bowling, which we will see now by the way. You are good at dancing. You cook. Is there any other talent I should know about?" I ask her jokingly. Geez, this girl can do so many things.
"Well..." she says smiling a little.
"What? You have some other hidden talent as well?" I ask her as we're wearing the bowling shoes.
"I can box punch" she says biting her lip nervously unknowingly.
"Like boxing boxing?" I ask her astonishingly.
"Yeah. Boxing boxing. Not much though. I can just do a jab, cross, hook and uppercut" she tells me as we approach the bowling alley.
"Like, professional boxing?" I ask her still surprised. I've seen those hands delicately dance. It's really hard to believe that those hands can knock someone out.
"Not exactly professional. My granddad-mom's dad was a professional boxer. Have you ever heard of Patrick Myers?" she asks me.
"Yes. Obviously. He's a legend in California. Don't tell me he's your grandfather" I say.
"Yup. That's him" she tells me and looks at my reaction and laughs.
"Well anyways, he has always taught me and Fran some basic moves in boxing but Fran wanted to learn more and he did. And I pursued dancing. But since last year, Fran has taught me everything he knows" she says
