Felix's POV
Jessica mutters something from beside me as I still eye that damn Lucas. Dan, Summer, Lucas and Felicity are dancing together but she clearly looks she doesn't wanna dance. And her not wanting to dance doesn't really make sense.
Jessica mutters something again so I look at her and ask "I'm sorry, did you say something?"
"I've been asking you for the past five minutes if you wanted to dance" she looks irritated now. That's fair. I haven't really been paying any attention to her as opposed to the hazel eyed beauty standing a few feet away from me.
"Umm no thanks" I reply. And it isn't that I don't wanna dance with her. I just don't feel like dancing in general.
"Did someone force you to come here Felix?" Jessica asks me seriously.
"Yeah you could say that" I reply honestly.
"So you just needed a date to come inside?"
What do I reply to this?
"So you can definitely leave without a date" she says, dumps her punch in the bin and takes off angrily.
"Hey Jessica wait" I say and she turns around questioningly.
"I'm sorry"
"That's fine. But I think you'll manage without me" she says and leaves.

"Convincing me to come to this winter formal is the worst thing you guys have done in your whole lives" I mutter annoyingly.
"Calm down drama boy. How are you gonna enjoy yourself when you managed to scare off the date you had and have been staring at Felicity the whole evening?" Claire asserts.
"Yeah, what is the deal with you guys? That girl in the black dress, who I now know is Felicity, has been staring at you the whole night too. She's not even looking at that handsome hunk who brought her here. What didn't you guys just come together if you wanted to gawk at each other all night?" Harper tells me and asks me at the same time.
"Harper, that's a really long story. And I'm sure Jenny would love the honors of telling you when she gets the time" I say and smile sarcastically at Jenny. She mumbles something but my attention gets diverted when my phone goes 'ding ding ding ding'.
Mom: Frank and I need to go to Ivy Hill urgently. We have a meeting there tomorrow afternoon and three more colleaugues are coming with us.
Mom: Had to drive our car so we took a cab to your school and took the car that you had taken there. Don't take a cab back home though. Frank's assistant will pick you up and drive you to our penthouse.
Mom: Sam is at Abizza's so if you don't wanna be alone at the penthouse then call your friends over for the night. NO PARTIES. Just a stay over.
Mom: The cook and the care taker are already there. Call me if you need anything else.
Don't these people have prior information about business meetings?
Me: Why am I going to the penthouse and not our home? And why isn't Sam coming with me?
Mom: We gave him an option. He chose to stay at Abizza's. And you are going to the penthouse because you deserve a break. You've been studying hard for the past two weeks.
Me: Okay fine. When will you guys be back and where are you right now? What about your dinner? And which assistant? Theo?
Mom: Tomorrow evening most probably. If not, the next day afternoon. We've reached halfway and don't worry we'll have dinner somewhere on the way. Ya Theodore will pick you and your friends up.
