32- Don't Give Up On Me

Felicity's POV

We are driving to the match right now. Fran is playing so Summer and I are both going there early with him. 

Our parents and Nity will be there later.

"Penelope is really cool" Summer says from the backseat.

"Ya exactly. I don't think anyone has reacted to your incident better than she did. Even I was shocked for two days after you told me" Fran says from beside me and he's looking for something in his bag. I'm driving.

"Well. She is a therapist. Dealt with a lot psycho cases before me" I laugh.

"So are you finally going to tell Felix and everyone the truth now? You know, now that Penelope is thinking of a way to prove it to mom and dad that you're not lying?" Fran asks me nervously.

"No Fran. I told you. These are two completely different things. I told Penelope so that mom and dad believe me. But mom and dad believing me isn't gonna delete Nick's number from Brynn's phone. And as long as she has it, I can't talk to him" I say as I take a right turn.

"Because I kind of already did" Fran says avoiding my eyes.

"You did what?" I ask confused.

"Told Felix" he says. Still avoiding my eyes.

"You did what?" Summer exclaims from behind. I suddenly put my leg on the brake and stop the car.

"Exactly. You did what?!"

"Not like the whole truth. In fact not anything. He just knows that you're seeing a therapist and it may have slipped out of my mouth that Brynn was the one who threatened you" he says guiltily.

"Fran! Are you crazy? When the hell did this happen? And why didn't you tell me immediately?!"

"Because I was looking for a way to tell you? It happened yesterday. His brother was over for Affinity after you left. Mom and dad were talking about how it is good that you're taking Penelope seriously but Nity and I were worried. Sam saw all of that I guess and told Felix. He was really worried when he called me. Kept asking how you were and where you were. Already knew that you were at your theapist's. Then he told me that he really liked you and then I got angry about him kissing Brynn if he liked you" Fran rambles in super fast mode and then slows down and says "and it kind of slipped out of my mouth that she threatened you"

"Wait. He said that he likes her?" Summer asks ashe pops her head in between our seats.

"Yeah. He said that he really really liked her" Fran tells Summer and looks at me smilingly. I blush a little but then I remember that we have a bigger problem at our hands.

"But Fran! What if he asks Brynn about it?" I ask as I put my hands on my forehead in frustration.

"I told him not to" he says and I give him an 'as if' look.

"Yeah. You're right. He isn't gonna listen to me. The guy has lost his mind because you aren't talking to him"

"But now I have to talk to him. To tell him not to say anything to Brynn. But I don't know what am I gonna say. This is so unfair to him that with every conversation we have, I leave him without an explaination. Which is what I'm gonna have to do again" I say and sigh.

Felix's POV

I am waiting for Brynn is the gym room. I texted her that I wanted to see her before the game. I am pacing angrily around the room. How dare she threaten Felicity?

"You wanted to see me? Needed a good luck kiss before the game?" Brynn's voice rings annoyingly in my ear from behind me. I turn around quickly and push her away harshly.
