After Tokoyami defeated Moonfish with an enraged Dark Shadow, Bakugo and Todoroki managed to calm Dark Shadow down with their quirk.

"Are you ok, Tokoyami?" Midoriya asked the the bird boy worriedly while Shoji carried the injured green-haired boy. "Thanks for following my instructions."

"Midoriya... Shoji... I'm sorry, my spirit is still—," Tokoyami was interrupted by Mandalay who started to speak everyone telepathically.

"Everyone!" The cat heroine shouted in their heads. "If you can hear me, Laura Kinney of class 1-A has been taken by a man in a yellow overcoat! I repeat: if you can hear me, do whatever you can to find a man in a yellow overcoat! The villains have captured Laura Kinney of class 1-A!"

Midoriya, Tokoyami, and Todoroki's faces were in shock from hearing the news; Bakugo looked like he was about to bust a vein; and Shoji's face only darkened.

"T-They got Laura?" Midoriya asked in disbelief and fear.

"Oi, Deku!" Bakugo growled at the green haired boy. "Forget trying to protect me, we're going to save Laura!"

"He's right," Todoroki nodded in agreement. "One of our classmates were captured, rescuing her is top priority now."

"What's the plan?" Tokoyami asked.

"We know that Bakugo is one of their targets, right?" Midoriya continued. "And Mandalay said that the person who took Laura wore a yellow overcoat, I can only assume he has some sort of quirk that can catch people with ease, like using a pokeball on a wild Pokémon with low HP."

Shoji looked back at Midoriya. "So, you're suggesting that they come to us?" He asked him as he nodded in response.

They all looked at each other, wondering if this was a good idea or not, until Midoriya started speaking again.

"With Shoji's senses, Todoroki's ice, and if it's all right with you, Tokoyami, there's still your invincible Dark Shadow which we've got the means to control," Midoriya explained. "With a team like this, we could even beat All Might."

"What the hell, Deku, what about me?!" Bakugo shouted angrily at Midoriya.

"Stay in the middle, Bakugo, you're still their target," Todoroki said to him, making the spiky haired boy bark angrily at him.

After some wandering through the forest, they managed to find Tsuyu and Uraraka, scaring off a villain the two girls were fighting against. Now with a larger party, they have a higher chance of protecting Bakugo, as well as rescuing Laura. The atmosphere was tense, Midoriya can tell by everyone's faces, but when he looked at Shoji—he didn't need to see under the mask to know what the octopus-like student was feeling. Midoriya remembers that Shoji has a crush on Laura, and from what he heard from Uraraka: the date went well—meaning that there's a high possibility that the two could be in a relationship now.

Midoriya was intimidated by Shoji when he first met him, but after knowing him better, he's like a gentle giant, a good and friendly person. But this was the first time he's ever seen this in someone's eyes... Shoji had a dark determination. It scared him a bit, so he decided to turn his attention to Bakugo.

"Kacchan, are you—," Midoriya stopped as his face was filled with dread from finding his childhood friend to be gone.

"Where's Bakugo?!" Midoriya questioned all of them. The group looked at Midoriya, only noticing now that Bakugo was gone.

They hear laughter and turned their heads to a man in a yellow overcoat, standing on a branch of a tree. "Looking for your friend?" He asked, holding a blue marble in between his thumb and index finger.
