The finals tournament matches were announced.
The first match of the semifinals was Third versus Eighth High. The second was First versus Ninth High.
Despite taking place in the second half, the first match, in particular Third High, was unmissable. So, with a lunch box in his hand, he took Miyuki back to the hotel, getting ready to watch his enemies' match.
The tent that they could have stayed in was not the best place to. The number of people in the tent was too much to have a meal. It was getting harder to breathe in there.
While Mikihiko and Leo had evacuated the parade of people into their own rooms, Honoka thought to follow the siblings, only to realize that it would invite all of her classmates to follow, ruining the reason for their escape.

"Tatsuya, are you feeling all right?"
"You don't look so good,"
Tatsuya, amongst the almost already filled arena, lined with an anticipated audience, found his way to Leo and Mikihiko. Despite only just having arrived, he was already greeted with a 'greeting' of sorts.
"I'm all right, I'm just a bit tired from yesterday, but it's nothing that bad, I'll be fine by the time our match starts."
On the other side of Tatsuya was Miyuki and Erika, and behind him was Mizuki.
Though the pair that were already seated didn't pay much attention; their eyes focused on the middle of the arena, glaring at the two sides where players would release from.
It took a few seconds for the pair to realize what Tatsuya was saying, only replying a little later.
"Sorry. I feel we had you take the full force of this. Even when we're meant to be a team."
"It's fine, I mean, this was what I offered to do myself so you don't have to worry about it." A faint smile appeared on his face.
"Well, if you say so, but, you've been doing so much already, you don't need to push yourself any harder,"
Mikihiko smiled at Tatsuya, nodding.

The match started.
All of their conversations were put to a halt, their eyes fixated on the match, especially the two from a certain side.
The stage was modeled after a karst topography. It was also the stage with the second-fewest obstacles. Only a few boulders were placed around the area.
Out from those boulders, Masaki came. He confidently protruded out from them, walking towards the enemy. Not even a single bead of sweat dripped from his forehead.
The enemy, obviously, couldn't let this go as they fired spell after spell.
However...
Even then, Masaki continued walking.
The spells that were being sent towards him were being nullified by Area Interference, and, as if to brag his power, he didn't even bother walking any faster.
As the two on the side of Tatsuya stared in amazement, both at Masaki's power and the way he was so obviously flaunting that power, Tatsuya openly praised the ability. "Interference Armor...and this was meant to be the Juumonji's forte."
As he looked closer, his praise grew. "And he's not out of breath after using that spell for so long..."
As he muttered on, something in the arena happened.
