Third Person
It was intended to be a lazy day. The septics all hanging about the house, taking their time with things. Henrick and Jackie took off. Marvin and Chase stopped their little projects or hobbies. Jameson was usually down here anyway, occasionally off to see friends or take walks. The only missing person was Anti.Speaking of, he's carefully making his way down the stairs, face red and struggling a tad bit on the wooden floor to not slide.
The majority of the others are congregated in the living room which happens to be exactly where Anti is heading. Aside from Chase who's in the kitchen getting a drink.
Once Anti made it down the stairs, internally cheering that he didn't fall down them, he stared right into the kitchen area, seeing Chase, but the other not seeing him. Anti is only unseen by the others due to the small bit of wall before the turn. However, if Chase turns around and glances under the cabinets, he could see Anti.
Anti's fingers went to fiddle with the hem of the skirt he's wearing. This was new, for everyone. Anti couldn't bring himself out as confidently as he wanted, he had a lot of tiny little fears weighing on him. Of course, he knew he wouldn't be made fun of or anything, this isn't the first time one of them dressed up like this, but the thought kept teasing him.
Anti silently took a deep breath, attempting to calm himself down. It only worked a little, but that was better than nothing. He had two options. Wait for Chase to notice and see how that goes before seeing everyone, or going out to everyone head-on.
Anti decided, since Chase was beginning to leave the kitchen anyway, that he'd let one person see and guide him into this. Chase turned the corner and Anti nearly thought that he wouldn't see him till they locked eyes.
Chase's eyes went down and back up, looking Anti over. A small smile twitched on his face as he set his drink down on the counter nearby before coming over to Anti. The others weren't paying attention, thankfully, so they didn't see the strange interaction.
Chase brings himself over to Anti, just out of sight of the others. Anti's gaze shies away from Chase's face tinting a red, his red ears a big sign of him blushing.
"You decided to get dressed up today?" Chase whispers, voice just underneath the TV. Anti nods, words escaping him.
"You look cute~ Are you needing me to help show you off to the others?" Anti crosses his arms, puffing a bit.
"My bad. Would you like me to escort you out in order for you to do so?" Anti's face just got even redder.
"You didn't have to change your wording." Chase smiles as he kisses the top of Anti's head.
"Well, I don't want you thinking that just because you're in a skirt and new outfit that you can't do anything." Anti fiddles with the hem of said skirt again.
". . .thank you." Chase smiles pressing a light kiss to Anti's lips. Chase very much knew the internal struggle Anti would have sometimes, he's sat in hard moments and listened to Anti explain himself. So often Chase would work with Anti to make sure good tones got across and there wasn't often room for negative messages to be pulled out by anxiety.
"I-I would like your help though." Chase nods, smiling softly. Chase takes Anti's hand in his, slowly coaxing him to come out with him. The others were entertained at the moment so they didn't see.
