Marley took a deep breath, unknowingly knowing Layla was taking one too. "You," she chuckled, like she was hearing a dark joke, "locked up my mate." She clinched her teeth together, and Denice swallowed at the power surge coming from the young woman. Joey bared his teeth at Marley in warning, not liking how she potentially threatened his mate.

"Marley," the fellow Alpha spoke, "we have the containment cells for when wolves lose control in the dungeons, they are on a different floor than the prisoners." Marley nodded her head, the anger still boiling her blood. She knew all too well what it was like to be held in a dungeon— it because her pathetic home when the rogues took over. "We can head over there now." Alpha Joey turned towards his mate, giving her a smile and a quick kiss, "Can you get the pack to come to the Meeting Room?"

Denise nodded her head, "Of course." She pressed her lips towards Joey's before turning away with her face red as a tomato.

Marley raised her eyebrow as she followed Joey towards the dungeons, "You two are not true mates." The female Alpha was confused as she looked between them, biting her lip as she walked side by side with Joey. "What happens when you find your real mate?"

Joey sighed, catching they curious tone from Marley. It wasn't one filled with hate or someone saying that they didn't believe their relationship didn't exists, it was one that wanted to know the reason behind it. He coughed, "Alphas have always had higher senses." Marley nodded her head, understanding. She would always smell incoming pack wolves coming to the house faster than anyone else— her sense started to surpass everyone her age.

"When I was eighteen, when the mate bond opened, I felt this dying pain in my chest. I felt like I was dying till it was gone and all that was left was a feeling of lost and abandonment."

Marley whimpered for him, "You felt the bond break."

"My father said that my mate had dead, either at the moment it tears before, and I was just know feeling it."

Marley patted his shoulder, friend to friend. "I'm sure she or he would be very happy to see that Denice makes you smile."

Gabby scratched her head as she watched Layla try to break through the bars. No longer did Layla stand on her own two human feet; instead, she was on four paws, and her teeth butting down on the metal— trying to escape.

The guards watched as their Head Doctor turned into some kind of warrior, or more likely a Luna. Layla's eyes glowed with fire as she inhaled deeply, trying to gather herself. The Beta wolf she saw was taken down stairs, but she could still hear and smell him.

She wanted the wolf dead.

Gone.

Destroyed.

It didn't matter if her job usually was define to save lives. Tonight, she would kill for the protection of herself, her pack, and her mate. Her mate. Marley.

Majority of the pack started to turn against her, wanting to kick out the poor eighteen years old, claiming that she was too dangerous to stay.

Layla's rage increased with each thought.

Gabby sighed when the door opened, and the sense of Joey and Marley entered the room faster than anything before. In a blink of an eye, Marley was beside Gabby, baring her teeth at the nurse as her face was full of worry for her mate. Gabby quickly went to her Alpha, realizing that Marly saw her as a threat to her relationship.

"Let her go," Aloha Joey commanded, and the bars that entrapped Layla were gone. The Doctor quickly pushed Marley down, sensing blood against her mate's skin and clothes. Her mind set of finding the Beta wolf disappeared as she checked in her mate. Her wet nose poked at at different places, making sure everything was ok. She whined softly buzzing her head into Marley's chest.

"I'm ok," Marley whispered, but even Layla could sense the growing strength in her calming and gently voice. Layla could feel something shift inside of her mate, her ranking had change— she reminded her of Alpha Joey.

Gabby took an heavy breath, "She's an Alpha?" The nurse looked at Joey, confusion laced in her eyes. "Her wolf was barley healing her. How can she suddenly be one?"

Marley chuckled, wrapping her arms around Layla's neck as she embraced her. "That's a long story." The female Alpha moved to cup her mate's fury cheeks, "Can you please shift, for me?"

Layla's only response was to whine. Due to her shifting in rage and to show her wrath, she was temporary stuck as an animal with animalistic behaviors. Marley chuckled, moving to scope Layla off of the floor. When her mate was in her arms she turned towards Gabby, "Why was my mate place here, and why did she shift into her wolf form like this?"

Gabby lowered her gaze, feeling the heat of two Alpha's stares. She answered in a whisper, "Word has it in the pack that they are going to kick you out."

Surprisingly, it wasn't Marley or Layla who growled but Joey. He snarled, taking his attention towards the guards and any other pack member he could look at, "I made no say in this decision." Everyone— expect for Layla and Marley— bowed their head for forgiveness. Alpha Joey started to seethe, but just under his anger, there was a hint of disappointment.

"And," Gabby continued, "Layla saw the wolf that was... um hurting you from... when she first... uh, found you."

Marley smirked, kissing Layla on the top of her head. The wolf in her arms sighed as she vibrates when sparks trailed down her spin. "I guess," Marley teased as she whispered, "I beat you too it."

Layla looked up at her, shocked that Marley inflected the damages she saw.

She was impressed and proud, and she couldn't wait till what else Marley could do.

Quick Question: What is a random fact you know? ( It can be about anything. From tips to life to about carrots. The choices are unlimited!")

Once again, if anything in my writing is incorrect, please bring it to my attention so I can fix it when I have the time, hopefully, in the near future.

Thanks.
