I know it's been a while and everything, so I finally found some time to write a chapter. Thanks so much if you continued to read this book!
I don't know when exactly I will get another time to write. I just started college and all, so I'll try my best.
Enjoy the chapter!
Marley felt blood dropped from her mouth. The sickening iron taste throwing her back into her nightmares. It hasn't even been a day since she returned with her mate's, Layla's, cabin in the woods before she already tormented by the Beta that chased her down towards this pack.
Her wounds were making it harder and harder for her to fight, to attack and to defend. Normally, and Alpha wolf could take any hit— life threatening or not, but it seems somewhere in the base of the confidence was shattered and unable to form with her growth in mind and character. Something inside her just snapped.
She bared her teeth, standing on four paws inside of two feet. Marley was quiet proud of herself, adoring her long missed hair colored fur. It was stained red, but at the moment she didn't care what she looked like. As long as she saved her mate, she would be happy— maybe she'll even get a bonus and rescue her old pack.
The Beta wolf wasted no time in charging at her. Layla's pack warriors were already situated with other rogues, and he knew it was going to be challenging for anyone to save Marley when he was done with her. His eyes gleamed, imagining what he was going to do to her to make the little she-wolf suffer. Oh, how her fur would come out in chucks. Her blood soaking into the ground, enough to damage the grass to never grow there again. Her body would be unrealistically destroyed, and he will make sure she survives.
His Alpha wanted to daughter of an Alpha alive for his bidding. He needed her alive because she was the source of hope fighting along with her family.
Market barley had enough time to duck as the wolf flew over her head. She quickly turned, lowering herself into a fighting stance— not even a hint of submission. The overload of protecting her mate and her family was Sky rocketing into her wolf, strengthening her to be the first female to finally accept the dominance inside her blood.
Before the Beta wolf didn't have enough time as Marley bit into his back leg with rage he didn't know she could process. She was always shy and timid, but not because she was submission. Marley didn't know who she was, who she wanted to be. Sure, her father and mother wanted her to claim the title— along with her younger sister, who would take second in command.
Marley knew now. When Layla left, she knew she had to do something, anything. Her pack was majorly traditionalist, but her family wasn't. She followed what her pack believed her to be, not want she was. As the Beta roared angrily into the air, she couldn't help back smirk as she tore deeper into his leg as she shock her head.
This was for her pack.
This was for her friends.
This was for her sister.
This was for her mother.
This was for her father.
This was for her mate.
This, well, this was for her.
She felt the bone underneath her teeth snap as she physically pulled the muscles from his leg. She spit it out, blood pouring from her mouth just as quick as it was from the wound. Marley watched as the Beta, her sister's main tormentor, took staggering steps. Her aura growing in power and strength, far bypassing the wolf in from of her.
The Beta snarled, snapping his teeth at Marley's front leg. He barley nipped there as she jumped away. Marley bit a bark back at him, teasing him as she paced around his body. He stood, shaking on three legs as the world started to get fuzzier and fuzzier. He snapped and growled, lunging for life threatening wounds to save himself. As he panic, he left himself opened.
Marley continued to play with him.
She made no move to attack him because like the Beta was planning, Marley was going to make him suffer for his sins and crimes— not only for her pack, but for Layla's.
The Beta falling was the last straw for the rogues. As the thump of the maw wolf hit the ground, rogues sprinted off in numerous different directions, getting chase and some getting caught.
Marley didn't even pat an eye when Layla's Alpha walked closer and closer towards her. Most of the blood on his fur did not belong to him, but Marley could see some deep wounds when he accidentally left himself open.
The growth in Marley's wolf made Joey conscious as he took determined steps towards the unconscious rogue. Marley stood up prouder when she saw the flicker of surprised on the male Alpha's face.
The Alpha gave off a loud howl, signally the end of the bloody battle they all had just fought. Marley listened as more wolves threw their heads into the air, following their Alpha. Nothing inside of her told her to follow, and she stayed silent as she watched everyone around her.
Some started to walk away with limos and injures, heading towards the hospital, where her mate was. Marley wanted this thing to end, just so she could get to Layla. She couldn't help back wiggly her tail for her mate.
Would she liked how she developed? How her wolf and Alpha blood finally took charge?
She felt her shoulder get nudged, and Marley turned her head to see Joey. He nodded his head towards where Marley assumed her mate was, and the two Alpha's spirited towards home. Neither one pushing in front of the others. It seems like these two Alphas were going to be the best of friends.
