Morning Cuddles.

Triggers- None fluff attack though

Patton Logan

Patton woke feeling logans arms wrapped around him and he smiles, logan has a limit to how much physical affection he can give regularly so waking up to logan holding him close with a smile as he slept was a gift he always cherished.

Patton places a gentle kiss on logans forehead seeing his sleeping soulmate so peaceful, lips parted slightly, a small smile which made the corner of his eyes crinkle, it was beautiful.

Patton closed his eyes for a little bit then he felt logan shuffle slightly and he opened his eyes seeing logan waking up, it always reminded Patton of a computer starting up, it takes a moment for the mind to wake up but when it does it instantaneously. "Good morning patt, how was your sleep?" He didn't let Patton go out of their little tangle of limbs and cuddles just yet.

"Morning lo, it alright all things considered with what's going on, how was yours?" They looked deep into each others relishing in the other company "it was satis- fine, thank you I'm glad yours alright" logan corrected himself and Patton giggled hearing it.

They stayed cuddled sharing small kisses for some more time before they agreed they should get up, meaning they have to untangle themselves from the other's legs and arms, ending with logan almost falling out of the bed and Patton laughing a little too loud.

Logan had a shower and Patton got dressed and went downstairs seeing Robyn dressed in light-wash skinny Jeans and a navy blue tank blouse with a black singlet underneath, the top two buttons were undone to make it look less professional and more relaxed and comfortable.

"Morning Patt, how was your sleep?" She asks from the kitchen still limping but not as much, she gives Patton his tea and goes to make logan a coffee double-checking with Patton how he liked it.

"It was alright kiddo, how was yours? That leg wouldn't be been very comfortable" she shrugs but remained positive. "Mine alright too, I woke up in a really good mood. But I also heard you laughing and logan I'm guessing possibly fell out of bed?" She asked and pattons face flushed but laughed "yeah we got all tangled up since we cuddled each other as we slept, we were trying to untangle" Robyn giggled listening to this and logan entered the kitchen seeing the mug of black coffee waiting for him.

Robyn silently tried to give back in some way to thank them for their hospitality and kindness by making them a decent breakfast, eggs (fried or scrambled) toast, bacon and hashbrowns. Patton ate happily as did logan, "so, when would we be possibly leaving home?"

Robyn looks up at Logan who had asked the question, "do we know if Virgil and roman are going?" Patton added and the three exchange looks, "maybe we can text them?" Patton mentions as an idea the other two nod but as Patton takes his phone out after breakfast there was a knock at the door, Logan was busy making a phone call to work and Robyn was now doing the dishes.

Patton goes to the front door unlocked it then opened it to see, roman and Virgil standing with determined faces, "we're going."  Virgil says and Patton's eyes light up with excitement pulling the two into the house towards the kitchen "Robyn! They're coming! And they're here!" Robyn looks over from the dishes with a relieved smile, "awesome, thank you guys so much. You have no idea what this means to me and the others."

She says relieved they shrug it off then sit at the table waiting for logan to go downstairs and Robyn cleans the last few dishes.

Everyone sits at the table and Robyn decides to explain something, "when you go through the gateway, you won't be human on the other side. The beacon will read what type of person you are and create you into a being with the power and magic that replicates you" she explains,

"Does it hurt?" Roman asks awkwardly and she shakes her head smiling, "no, you can't even tell that it's happened half the time. Your features shouldn't change appearance-wise you will look the same just will the additional traits and pieces of your set being." She continued.

Hearing that made the four visibly relax, one with a sigh, "do you know what we would become?" She looks at the four of them thinking her eyes dimly glowing navy blue, "I do believe Patton would very much suit a fae or fairy, logan would be an elf, roman a were or kitsune, and... Virgil I'm not sure about you"

"Can I just ask what a kit-sune is?" Patton asks carefully Robyn goes to explain but virgil beats her to it.

"Kitsune is a fox person, traits of a fox known in the Japanese folktales, they are usually seen as timid but protective and intelligent" they all look at Virgil with a shock-like expressing making if seem like just sprouted nonsense except roman who was intertwining his fingers as a distraction of sorts.

"Well.. ok then, what makes you believe that I would be an elf then?" Logan asks again "well you care about the environment evident by your gardens, you also like space have an enthusiasm toward intelligence over emotions even if you do lean that way sometimes it's just the sense of balance you carry too." Logan seemed proud of Robyn's explanation and nodded to himself thoughtfully.

The room was silent, "what is it like going through the gateway portal thing?" Virgil asks Robyn looked at her hands thoughtfully, "it feels like your being gently tickled if not at all, sometimes it can feel like your underwater too but you can obviously breathe, it will be less than a moment and you'll pop out through the other side."

There was silence again then Roman stands causing everyone to look at him "well I must say we've talked about your home for a while but are we actually going to go?" He says fixing his sleeves.

Robyn smiles and nods, "we'll walk to the gateway it's in the forest just outside of town, 20 minutes or so away."
