Virgil Sam
Sam and Virgil were in Virgil's tent, he requested a tent on his own because he didn't want to sleep with others around. Virgil was shifted into a cat watching his sister with his bright violet eyes.
Sam sighs going up to him and picking the unsuspecting cat man up who meowed confused "dude you've been staring at me for thirty minutes gay unblinking, talk to me, we have a meeting with everyone soon. I don't want there to be tension" she then sat and put him on her lap scratching the base of Virgil's ears who purrs, after a minute he moves off and glows, and in a flash of light he has short hair and black ripped skinny jeans, sam finally had a chance to change him back to being masculine today, roman had learned very quickly how to be a wolf and what he can do with the energy of command, He managed to even get sam to comply which is a difficult feat to achieve.
Since Virgil had been changed back to male, his appearance was back to what it was before with slight changes violet eyeshadow under his eyes instead of his usual raccoon black, his hair went from black to the violet in a gradient too, there weren't many signs of him being a were-cat surprisingly although if he wanted too he could have a tail or cat ears form.
He sighed looking at his sister obviously upset, "what am I supposed to do about Roman? I want to help him but I feel like if I go up to him I'll do more harm than good." She looks away knowing that he was right, over the time sam had been training the other, roman had gotten more comfortable and slightly confident, it will take more than just these few days but it was an improvement, any progress is good.
She bites the bottom of her lip thinking "I know this is difficult Virgil and I am so proud of you for taking the steps to prevent harming him further, the necklace has helped, even if you can't tell. and I'm so proud that you have managed to maintain your temper as well as you have here." she adds rubbing his shoulder comforting her brother. They leaned into the touch a little too desperately "I don't understand why your being so nice, why logan and Patton arent tearing me apart and yelling. I hurt Roman, at least the others have been showing their hatred towards me even if they have to be diplomatic about it." She chuckled at the mention of the other guardians "they're overprotective of me and Robyn... I don't know why though, but I already said I forgave you when we first saw each other here" sam added and Virgil looked away, mumbling something sam couldn't quite make out.
"Virgil I didn't quite hear you can you speak a tiny bit louder?" She says softly, he sighs "I don't deserve forgiveness," he says louder and something inside Sam snaps, "who said that? Because they're wrong!" She says and Virgil looked away from his guardian. "I did" he simply said and Sam's eyes glowed a bright violet and she pulled him into a hug, "don't say that about yourself, Virge... it's not true" Virgil felt sad and secure in the hug with the woman in glowing purple eyes, but he never relaxed into the hug.
"It is true sam, I started yelling at him... I-I thought that it was a one-time thing, half the time I don't remember lashing out its just blank, then I hate myself sam! I hate who I am what I've become! I don't like painting anymore but I still want to do that because I still find it fun sometimes, I love roman but he deserves someone stable... and that's not me, I'm my parents' son who is following in their footsteps" he had gotten out of the hug and shuffled away from sam and was curled in on himself hugging his legs close to his chest.
Sam looked at him with sympathy, guilt also. "Virge, you will not ever become our parents get that toxic thought out of your mind before I throw this crown at you," she says cautiously pointing to the circlet placed on her head. Virgil huffed and stood moving away his face going red "Sam don't lie and say that! I have been treating Roman just like they did before they started to hit us! I am turning into our mother! our father! the people who hurt us! who hurt you, you almost died because of them!" he yelled and sam watched him, tears were showing and trickled down his face as he vented his thoughts.
sam watches as he soon realises that he was crying it was almost like a switch was flicked in Virgil's brain "wha-why am I crying? I don't understand" he wipes the tears away and looks at sam who was sitting on the slightly messy bed. some idea seemed to be slowly forming in sams mind as she watched her brother fall further and further into this strange headspace. she stands and walks to him "Virgil.. look at me please?" he does so the tears didn't stop flowing, she doesn't look at the tears but instead into his brown eyes, they were going red and his face was blotchy from the crying and the yelling. "Virgil, please breath for me? in for four seconds hold for seven out for eight." he seemed confused "but I'm not having a panic attack" she smiles softly taking hold of his left hand and squeezing it, "you still need to breathe and it's a way to calm down and focus on one thing."
he listened to his sister doing the breathing exercise, "somethings wrong with me.. I'm broken" he mumbled she squeezed his hand tighter. "there is nothing wrong with you, you are not broken, we just need to see someone who can help." he hugs her tightly burying his face into her shoulder and mumbles "thank you for everything.." she wrapped her arms around his waist and gently squeezed him.
"Were family, that's what I'm here for."
Patton logan
"Hey Lo?" logan hums looking at his soulmate who had their head resting in his lap looking at the clouds, Saffiya was grazing on the grass beside them quietly "yes Pat?" logan runs his fingers through Patton's hair, "I've been thinking about how we've been wanting to have a family," Patton says cautiously, logan nods "yes patton?" "Yeah and I don't know if I would be good enough to be a dad... I know you would be amazing! but I'm just... me. I don't know how to raise a child!" Patton sat up and hugged himself, logan watched as the inner turmoil went on in his loves head, "Patton how did you start to think such falsehoods?" His voice was soft it shocked Patton to a degree, logan shuffled closer to Patton wrapping his arms around the other.
"Patt we have talked about this since before we got engaged, your the one looking into the paperwork for it, if you think you are going to be a bad parent I should shout falsehood for the entire camp to hear because you're going to be the best father they could ever ask for"
Patton smiles softly but doesn't say anything "sorry lo, I don't know why I thought I wouldn't want a child, I just feel like I might not be able to give them everything they need" logan smiles softly holding him tighter to his chest, "there may be times when we will struggle, but that is to be expected. We are not perfect, Patton, but together we will try to start a family that is happy and supportive, maybe think about it some more then tell me if you still would like to have a child, ok love?" they looked at each other both in some sort of daze, Patton smiles hearing the comforting words before leaning his head on logans chest,
"Ok Lo, I love you"
