Guardians.

What happened?

Trigger warning- blood, umm shouting? fighting, angst

Robyn looked around the area slowly taking in the damage and even blood, the plants getting frostbite and wilting at the destroyed large heavy oak doors, there were nobodies around which Robyn knew was because they just faded and disappeared over a small amount of time leaving small piles of dust.

There were many dust piles scattered everywhere, "Sam happened," she said her voice was shaky and began walking around the room looking for anything eyes swirling baby blue, navy and white with worry.

"Where is Sam?" Patton asks following her. Robyn glanced around as something shiny catching her eye, her breath hitched seeing Sam's sword, everyone saw her dash to the sword picking it up and eyes going a mix of the pink and white, looking at it her face lost all the color going pale "her sword... something happened, and this can tell us what"

They all looked nervously as she went to the centre of the destroyed room and glowed the sword eyes following suit. The room changed and distorted as it got brighter and soon there was sam surround by shadow-like creatures with sharp teeth and glowing green and yellow eyes, they looked like they were melting, it made Patton uncomfortable so he hugged closer to logan who tightened his grip in his soulmate. 

Roman watched as Sam shouted at them and they attacked, she glowed her eyes and a pulse made them fall backwards her wings coming out and using them to knock the enemy's over pushing them into each other. She countered, parried and lunged flew above them trying to remove all of them from this room.

Cuts and bruises were forming all over her body, even under the armour and chainmail. The shadows slowly began to dwindle in numbers as they died at the hands of sam and her red glowing eyes, they were speckled with purple.

Sam was exhausted panting and running out air, Sweat coated her forehead as she sent one more pulse that threw the last enemy's and herself flying back due to fatigue, dropping her sword and crashing through what was supposed to be a boarded-up window.

The sword remained there in its place and they all watched as Robyn sped time up for them to see the bodies disappear and to turn to dust virgil shivered looking at how they turned to the dust, going pale and and grey the colour draining as the began to fall apart to a light ash grey. It was now showing them enter and it ended with Robyn picking the sword up.

She lost the glow in her eyes now going a dull blue as tears escaped, they streaked down her cheeks, Virgil was silent staring at where sam was sent flying, seeing the window now broken open the shutters swinging loosely on its frozen hinges.

She began to shake running to the window and looking out her wings disappearing as she looked out, the wind was blowing strongly making her hair blow wildly as she searched. 

the others were silent as they watched the other break down and shout for the missing guardian. Roman took a step forward and place a hand on her shoulder "Robyn, She won't be able to hear you" he said quietly to her, she shook her head "no, no, no! She can't have just done that! She's not dead! She can't die!"

She tried to get out the window when the others ran and pulled her back in, "This won't help her! She will come back! but let's find the others and get their help to find her after! She would want us to keep moving!" Logan said holding her in place with Patton and Virgil.

Robyn whimpered and struggled to get out of their grip, she jerked and tried to get them to loosen their grip, they held her down with a tight hug that consisted of three people, her eyes were fluorescent showing her sadness and pain as she tried she shouted wanting to find her wife. 

She slowly crumbled crying into the threes embrace with Roman saying small comforting things and rubbing her back, sobbing loudly into Patton's shoulder.
