After walking for 15 minutes Robyn's eyes began to glow, slightly brighter the closer they got to their destination. Roman was walking with Patton and Robyn while Virgil and Logan were talking to each other silently.

When they finally got to an archway covered in vine-like flowers that weren't in bloom logan frowned, "why is this out in the middle of nowhere? People could get through it" Robyn chuckled, "if I hadn't stopped, you wouldn't have even realised that it was there, someone who doesn't focus on their surroundings looking for this set thing will never see it in their peripheral" she explained.

"and to answer the using it comment you need to open it with a key and for us it is me-" her eyes flash a mix of blues and white, the flowers begin to bloom glowing lightly as a swirl of other colours filling in the arch. Virgil looked at it in awe like shock hypnotized by the colours, as was roman, Logan was standing trying to holding back his overexcited soulmate to prevent him from running through.

"That's beautiful.." Virgil mutters the colours still mixing and shifting there was a small hum coming from it but it always did that. Robyn visibly relaxed feeling the power coming from the gateway and sighed smiling, "whelp, what are we waiting for?"

She asked and Logan looked at Patton who nodded "see you guys on the other side" Patton says happily walking through holding Logan's hand.

Virgil looked at Roman who gestured for him to go, he nods and goes through hesitantly but went through disappearing.

Robyn looked at roman who was shaking slightly, she took Roman's hand and gently squeezed it, "you're going to be ok Ro, I'll go with you" she says calmly. He takes a deep breath and nods determined and steps with Robyn to the gateway.

She takes a step in and gently pulls roman in after her.

A relaxing wave of air tickled Roman and it made him smile remembering Robyn's description of the portal, She wasn't wrong.

All too soon the light disappeared and he was in a large room, there was ice everywhere and a large door was broken with wilting plants at the foot.

Roman surveyed the area with interest scanning everywhere until they locked onto his friends. There was strange smell roman also couldn't place that wasn't allowing him to focus completely.

Logan and Patton looked to be around the same with their appearance as Robyn said, their hair being the same and glasses, Patton's freckles evident, the difference now was logan was slightly taller and had a slight point to his ears, eyes were the same colour if not two shades lighter making them a bright piercing blue, he was much more lean and angular.

Patton had a pair of slim smooth wings that shimmered in the cold light, they were a baby blue and white he was smaller more petite and had light blue swirls and patterns on his skin reminding roman of the avatar from the Last Airbender.

Robyn was the same except her medium feathered wings were out and she was already in a thick fur coat, scarf, gloves and beanie to beat the cold.

Then there was... Virgil? Roman had to a double-take of his soulmate. Virgil was a woman. Logan and Patton were eyeing the darkly dressed woman suspiciously making them uncomfortable and look at them "what?" He asks half aggressively.

Robyn looked at him in shock and intrigue "Virgil?" He looked at her instantly "yeah?" Logan looked at Robyn confused as she approached the other woman and touched their shoulder "Virge... I am going to ask you to do one thing, can you please look down and tell me what you see."

Virgil frowns his face flushing with anger "why the f-" Robyn cut in before he could swear "just do it! You can shout at me after!" She snaps, Logan took a step back holding Patton, roman froze in fear of Robyn, hed never had the confidence to shout back at him.

Virgil did as he was told and looked up at her, his face now drained of colour "what- what are those?" He asks quietly she rubs their shoulder softly, "Virgil, your a male trapped in a female body, guess what they are" his face flushed now knowing what they were now, "why are they there?" He asks and Robyn looked away, "the beacon has been tampered with by the hive, it could be a malfunction from that."

Virgil looked at the others who had some face of sympathy "is there a way to fix it? Can you change me back?" Robyn looked away, "the only person strong enough to do that is your sister since she is pretty much part of the beacon and the core through her title" Virgil sighs looking away from the others crossing their arms over their chest.

Robyn notices and summons an oversized hoodie scarf beanie and gloves for him. Then turning to Patton and logan them both were shivering her eyes flared a baby blue in shock realizing how cold Patton was getting. She runs over "oh shit, oh fuck! Patton! Your freezing! Here let me help!" She rushed around him and put some sort of haze over his wings which made him instantly relax, she then gave him a large coat that had soft thick furs and a scarf and beanie paired with gloves. She gave logan some too.

She moved to examine Patton's wings, "can I touch your wings patt?" Patton nods and she gently begins running her hands in the top of the smooth surface, not feeling any cracks but they were cold. Pattkn had relaxed at soft touch on his wings strangly. She breathed a loud sigh finally relaxing herself "your wings are fine, I was worried they cracked"

No one understood why they would have cracked but they decided it would be a good idea to ask at a later time, "ok, what happened here?" Roman asks still trying to focus on the room while a smell just wouldn't go away.
