The flashbacks stopped and roman looked around seeing Robyn shaking looking at her hands feeling tears going down his face, looking at the other three they had similar reactions to the flashbacks.

Patton was sobbing into logan as Virgil curled into himself hood of his face and makeup getting ruined.

Roman looked at his sleeves knowing what Robyn meant by him blaming himself, but he didn't realise Virgil did too.

After a long silence of people trying to calm down Robyn spoke her voice hoarse "we had planned everything out. Escape routes, plan b's to plan z's Remy forced sam to sleep while she had those zone outs so she could actually be ready for it." Roman noticed how much her voice shook while she tried to say everything.

"We managed to get to the frozen mountains, got to the ancient building and that's when members of the hive found us, ending up with how I got the arrow in my leg." She pointed to the leg she had elevated slightly.

Patton nodded seeming to understand, but logan frowned in thinking "where is sam? Wasn't she meant to go through too?" Robyn's breath hitched as she froze, her jaw trembled and the tears she had tried so hard to keep back flooded. Eyes glowed a bright blue.

She broke.

Roman shuffled over and she latched on him sobbing into his shoulder, "I'm- sorry" she said between sobs, roman hugged her back carefully rubbing her back gently, roman didn't want to let go if she calmed down, his touch starvation getting the best of him.

Patton and logan watched this with upset eyes as Virgil didn't look he was zoned out not listening after the mention of sam.

Robyn loves sam and sadly she had to be left behind.

"I'm sorry, she- she didn't want to come after I got shot. All her effort was to put me somewhere I wouldn't get hurt, I tried to take her with me but... she pushed me in.." Robyn said not letting go of roman, did she know? Roman thought looking away "she programmed the gateway and then pushed me through as they got through our boarded door."

Virgil stood and went outside with a sniff, leaving the other three alone, Robyn instantly curled in on themselves mumbling "I'm sorry" repetitively.

Patton took a deep breath and stood, "I'm going to go check on him ok?" They all nod as Robyn stayed hugging Roman.

Patton Virgil

"Virgil kiddo? You out here?" Patton looked around the verandah seeing Virgil was sitting leaning against the wall, "hay Patt" Virgil said Patton sat next to Virgil.

"wanna talk about it kiddo?" Patton asks gently, Virgil looks away "what can I say? I've let my temper get the best of me one too many times, I've hurt roman because of..." Virgil went silent again thinking, "I don't deserve his patience.. the forgiveness, or to be his soulmate. I'm my dad he didn't deserve happiness either."

Patton listened getting ready to smack Virgil one "Virgil, I mean this in the nicest way possible. But if you keep talking bad about yourself especially comparing yourself to your parents, I will fight you!"

Virgil hesitated then looked Patton dead in the eyes "I blamed him for my sister leaving, I yelled at him for caring about me, I lashed out and pushed him away time and time again- we don't share a room anymore Patt! I'm a monster and deserve to be lonely, I don't want to hurt him anymore."

Patton smiles rubbing his shoulder, "that's progress, Virgil! You already acknowledged the issue and now want to make it right" Virgil remained silent still thinking.

"What if we can't fix it? What if I damaged it too much? What if he hates me? I-I really had to mess this up" he said tears slipping free from his eyes. Patton hugged him tightly to ground him, "Virgil, I cant tell you how to fix your relationship or what to do with it. I'm not going to say you weren't at fault because that would be lying. What I can say is Roman still loves you, that's most likely why it hurt him so much you lashing out at him, I think you should talk to him about this and possibly find a solution that way you both can agree on the final decision"

Virgil sniffed not looking at Patton, "thanks Patt, I think we should talk too."

There as another silence "what are we going to do about Robyn?" Virgil asks changing the subject, Patton hums contently "well kiddo, I'm going to be going, and If I'm going logan will go because I can't do anything without him being in the vicinity to protect me and keep me safe, gosh he's a sweetheart"

Patton and Virgil chuckled at that, "will you be going?" Virgil hesitates thinking, "can we think about it and if we do go maybe tomorrow?" Patton nods "yeah I would think so kiddo, it's getting too late to leave now and Robyn still has that rather fresh arrow wound." Virgil nods in agreement silence back full in force.

"Want to go back inside now kiddo? You guys could stay for dinner, were having lasagne?" He offers and Virgil has to smile at that "we'll ask roman and see what he'd like then decide from there, but if it's your lasagna I don't think he could say no" Patton giggles at that. The two standing and going back inside.

The room was almost silent but there was a conversation being made in the lounge quietly, roman replying and Robyn and logan discussing some sort of interesting topic. Robyn looks at them and smiles gently, she was still holding onto roman in a friendly, comforting way just to make sure Roman was getting some sort of person on person contact without the others suspecting the signs of touch starvation.

Roman was the first to talk to the newly entered pair, "Virgil I was wondering if you would be ok to stay for dinner, I do believe it is lasagna?" Virgil looked at Patton who nods, "I was going to ask the same thing honestly." Virgil finally says and Roman's anxious tension loosens in a way everyone could see.

Logan and Patton nod, Robyn looks at everyone awkwardly, before trying to let go of roman to stand and go back upstairs to rest up, roman visibly deflates. Instantly he grabs her cardigan sleeve looking her desperately, "please don't.." everyone watched the exchange in wide eyes as roman realised what he said letting go of her cardigan.

The silence was tense they would need something sharp to cut it, so Robyn lays down head resting on Roman's lap, "if I can't sleep on a bed your lucky your a comfortable pillow Ro" she says playfully taking his hand and rubbing circles on his knuckles.

Closing eyes to hide to the flashes of light and dark blue from everyone.

Patton went and began making dinner logan was with him assisting as much as possible, Virgil sat on the armchair and remained silent as he was scrolling through Tumblr.

Roman did too as Robyn slept still giving him the contact he craved so much.
