What do we do?

How does one write angst? I have no clue but I don't think this is it.

Thank you queer_as_can_be for helping me with angst I hope this is good enough :)

Roman Virgil

Roman and Virgil got home, where roman went to give Virgil as much space as possible where Virgil takes Roman's hand to stop him "ro.. can we talk?" He said it gently to not cause roman any extra distress, it works to a point, but Virgil taking Roman's hand was not what he should have done, roman flinched looking the other in fear causing Virgil's heart to break.

"Did-did you think I was going to hit you?" Roman remained silent looking anywhere but Virgil, Virgil let go of roman, Taking note to not touch him without consent now. "Can we sit and talk? I really need to speak to you about us." Virgil carefully gestured to the sofa, roman walked and sat in the couch and remained silent scratching his arms.

Virgil sits across from him wring his hands nervously together, thinking of how to approach this. "We are damaged." He says cautiously looking at roman who looked at his feet. "We are not where we were before. And... I know it is my fault, I've raised my voice for many things and accused you of multiple things that you didn't do, Or that you had a right of doing. I am not asking for forgiveness, because I don't deserve it and in not choosing what happens next." Virgil looks to see any change from Roman's quite nervous expression... nothing.

"I am giving you the choice of what you want to happen. Whether we go our separate ways or go to a couple's councillor to fix things." Roman froze at that looking at him in Utter shock "wh-what?" He silently says Virgil leans forward "I've broken your trust and your heart too many times to decide what you want, so I'm giving you the choice" he was gentle, not a sound of agitation insight.

Roman looked away thinking, "i-i want to cancel the engagement. But.. after going to help Robyn and sam I want us to... go to see someone for... help" he tensed almost like he was waiting for Virgil to explode with anger but he smiles and gently nods, "ok, do we want to take the rings off?"

Roman looked at the engagement ring in shock and deep thought, before numbly nodding.

Virgil stood and got something out from their 'shared' bedroom when he came back it was the original ring case, "ok, let's do this" Virgil says looking at roman for confirmation, he just shakily nods and slips the engagement ring off his finger, Virgil does the same hesitantly but soon it was back in the sitting in front of the two of them show how far they had fallen.

"Can I go to bed?" Roman asks trying to hide his face, Virgil nods "yes you can 

Ro, you don't need to ask." Roman nods again rubbing his arm then left to the guest bedroom (his room) the door silently closing.

Patton logan

Logan was sitting in bed reading a book as Patton jumps under the sheets and taking a ring binder out from the drawer and reading the contents, "what are we going to do about Robyn and sam?" Logan asks breaking the silence while turning to the next page.

"I'm going. You don't-" "then I'm going too dear you know this." Logan finishes for Patton who giggles at the quick response. "Sherry can take over the vet clinic until were back and the foundation is still being processed, so we won't be holding anything up whilst being away for a bit," he says to reason out his quick response Patton nods in response focused on the papers in front of him more.

They stay like that for a bit until Patton begins to drift into sleep while holding the folder slumping and leaning against logan, who smiles gently taking off Patton's glasses and placing them on the bedside table and giving his husband a gentle kiss on the forehead once he's managed to shuffle Patton to lay under the sheets. Closing the folder and the contents in held for later on and for them to continue to discuss.

He turns out Patton's lamp and decides to go check on Robyn before getting to rest himself.

"Oh, hello logan, I wasn't expecting you to up and about this late" Robyn says opening the door to logan looked at Robyn in utter shock, logan cheers his throat then speaks "yes well I was just coming to check on you to make sure you are comfortable and both Patton and I will accompany you tomorrow to 'home'" Robyn nods smiling "ok then, thank you. I was just going to get a drink," she says limping towards the stairs logan nods before hesitating.

"May I accompany you downstairs? I had some questions about 'home' and guardian kind I'd like answered" Robyn smiles gently and nods "ok come on let's have a cup of cocoa and talk it over. Let us not wake Patton" she says softly walking down the stairs leaning against the railing as she went her eyes shined a light white to guide as she got to the bottom and flipped the light switch in the kitchen.

Logan followed her and sat at one of the three available bar stools." ok ask me your questions, Isaac Nerdton"
