Chapter 24:

Corey sighed into his coffee as shawn went off at them.

He was talking about a show he wanted to book.

A show?

Corey knew be wasnt quite ready. His vocals were what hed consider mediocre and he defiently wouldnt say he was talented.

What if he messed up? What if he made them look like fools?

Shawn wanted to play in masks and corey hadnt even found one yet.

It would be a disaster.

And corey was gonna have to deal with it.

He didnt want to though.

But he couldnt keep the rest waiting forever.

"What do you think corey?" Shawn asked

"Sounds good." Corey shrugged

Joey frowned and mouthed something towards him but corey ignored it.

"You sure?" Shawn asked

Corey shrugged "yeah I guess so. Theres no reason not to."

Joey looked at paul who was smiling before averting his gaze to how uncomfortable corey looked.

What was wrong with him?

Joey signed, he knew Corey hadnt been in a good mood since the morning. Corey had finally moved into Joey's room and the two had finally started to share a bed.

It was his first night, and whilst Joey wanted to pull him close, kiss his head and make sure he felt safe, protected and loved. Corey practically layed on the edge of the bed, as far as he could from Joey. He was nervous, for some odd reason.

Corey bit his lip as he thought deeply. God, he felt so out of it.

He wanted to hit himself in the head.

"Shawn can I, grab a coffee?" Corey asked

"Oh yeah...sure go ahead you know where it is." Shawn said as corey left through the garage door.

Joey stared at the back of Corey's head. What was wrong with him today?

"Man hes werid." Chris said

"Hes not that werid." Mick rolled his eyes

"Maybe he has stage fright?" Jim suggested "I mean I'd love to play live but god I'm nervous to. I have stage fright so."

"Okay that is true." Chris said "but I dont know today hes been werid."

"He was homeless guys, let's no judge."

"He was homeless?" chris asked

"He lives with Joey." Sid shrugged

"Joey! what? Why didnt you tell us?" Chris asked

"Not your business really." Joey shrugged

"Still! Would have been nice to know." Chris sulked

"Well chris joey and corey are actually-"

"Sid!" Joey interrupted loudly

"What?" Sid complained

"No sid what were you going to say?" Chris asked

"Ahem!" Joey coughed

"Nothing...never mind." Sid said

"No I'd quite like to know." Shawn said

"Oh well then, uh...Corey and Joey are actually...uh...thinking of..uh.."

"Yes sid?" Shawn asked
