Band practise had finished, and Joey thought it was good. He kept himself to his drums this time and even got a well done from corey, Jim had gotten a new guitar and played on that, it had a magnificent sound, and mick even got to have a go on it which was really nice to see.

The others had left and shawn had gone back inside his house, he told Joey he could use the garage to practise if he wasnt too loud as Joey wanted to get the beat perfect for a new song they were working on. Joey had spent hours writing the lyrics and was really excited about it.

He had taken a break and shawn gave him some beer but Joey was finally returned to the garage closing the door gently to see he wasnt alone.

He watched the other person, trying not to make a sound. Joey liked people watching if he was honest, he always found it interesting.

Corey was sitting on the drum kit, as Joey blinked wondering what he was doing there. He had a cigarette gently clasped in between his lips as he looks slightly irritated. He scribbled something down and then crossed it out, smiling gently as he itched underneath his disgusting looking beanie.

Joey raised a lack of eyebrow as corey hadnt noticed him, corey was too busy, but Joey couldn't help that notice corey stroke his beard, and look slightly annoyed.

"Fucking thing." Corey said, trying to flatten it back down

"Why do you keep it then?" Joey asked

Corey's eyes snapped up "what are you doing here?"

"Practise." Joey said "but I could ask you the same thing."

Corey looked away "well...I liked your lyrics for this song...does it have a name yet?" He said quietly

Joey shook his head "not yet. But thank you."

"You're welcome." Corey nodded "but there was a couple things I thought we could change."

Joey frowned

"Like I was thinking-"

"I'm sorry but who asked?" Joey said Rudly

Corey looked him in the eye coldly "because I'm the one that has to sing it."

Joey blinked "so?"

"Some of it's a mouthful, and doesnt flow. Not a lot...just a little bit." corey shrugged "I'm just changing the words to mean something similar, if not the same thing with a different word."

"But I wrote that!" Joey protested

Corey shrugged "is it for a solo project or for the band?"

"Well...the bands obviously but-"

"Then there we go." Corey said going back to the paper

"But it's still mine...you didnt ask to change it."

Corey rolled his eyes "I'll ask next time. Sorry for breaking the rules."

"Yeah you should be." Joey said "we could fire you, you know."

Corey looked up "you wouldnt though."

Joey raised a lack of eyebrow "who knows we always could."

Corey shrugged "I guess me and my vocals would have to go somewhere else then."

"What you think you're vocals are the best or something?" Joey snapped

"No." Corey said "I just think they arent the worst."

Joey rolled his eyes "are you going to move off the drums?" He asked Rudly

Corey sribbled something else out "no."
