Corey huffed as he woke up. Blinking gently.

Joey was looking right at him. He bit his lip as his head pounded. Why was Joey staring like that?

Corey looked at how Joey's arm had been placed over him.

His goal was not to snuggle, cuddle, or be close.

He should have slept on the coach. He sighed as he tried to shuffle away slightly.

"You okay?" Joey asked

"I'm hungover as fuck." Corey groaned

"Oh okay." Joey said before his eyes went wide "wait hung over?!" He screeched.

Corey flinched as his head pounded "yes okay?"

"What? When? How? Where? Why? What?"

"Before we left Jim's." Corey said yawning and placing his head back down on the pillow. "Okay?"

"What when?"

"When I went upstairs. I had a bottle of jack I'd been saving." Corey said with his eyes shut.

Joey nodded.

"I wasnt drunk or anything." Corey sighed "I just needed to numb the pain."

"Oh corey..." joey sighed "you cant do that."

"Wouldnt have had to if you werent a dick first." Corey said.

Joey frowned "you're a dick yourself when you're hungover."

"I'm aware. Please get me some aspirin."

Joey rolled his eyes yet complied getting out of bed and walking into the kitchen.

Corey opened his eyes and looked up sighing.

He only wished he could sleep forever.

He was always going to be the guy who could never be happy because well. It ran his brain.

What a stupid little boy he was, why did he let himself get so hurt? Hurt beyond life by someone he thought he could trust?

He looked over at mokey who got up and curled on Corey's chest. Corey stroked him gently feeling his heart rate calm down.

Everyone would hate him if they found out his true emotions. The fact he was never satisfied. Never happy.

The thing is, and this was the case with his mom. When shit flies towards the fan, it covers everyone. And the filth doesnt go away.

No amount of soup or bleach or alcohol would ever make him clean.

Joey shuffled back in. "Here."

Corey to the aspirin and water "thanks..."

"Uh hey. I have this feeling...uh that you are still super annoyed at me...?"

"Joey how many times? I dont hate you. I'm not annoyed at you. I'm hurt..I'm hurting."

Joey sighed "sorry sorry..I just feel like I fucked so much up. I'm not good at relationships. I've never even really been in one before. so..."

Corey nodded "I know."

Joey crawled back into bed with corey. "Can i see all your tattoos?" Joey asked out of nowhere.

Corey shrugged "yeah I guess?"

"Really?"

Corey smiled a small smile as his eyes kind of lit up "yeah man."

Corey rolled up his sleeve to show some strange shape coloured purple.
