Joey rested his hands ontop of his head as he sighed gently into the alcohol that sat on the table.
Whisky.
He wasnt a big whisky drinker, but he was relaxed and just there for a good time.
He raised the glass, shakily, he was pretty drunk all ready he would admit. But he was in his vibe and he was living for it.
His band had just come of the road for two weeks. And he was happy to be home. It was amazing being out there. Away. Seeing things. Seeing fans. Real fans. Going places finally making something of himself.
The band were strange but he loved them. They would beat each other up but all for fun.
The singer was a strange guy too.
He like to appear grungy, and his lyrics where dark. But Joey didnt judge, his lyrics were beautiful and he was honeslty a great guy.
He felt safe around him if he was honest, so safe and happy. The singer smelt of a sweet cologne and his eyes once so dead where a sea blue, not quite full of life but getting there. He was only a little taller than joey and coming face to face with him made Joey compare him to that of true beauty. Although the singer would disagree.
The singer had a cool attitude on the road that Joey was jealous of, Joey would describe him as kind though, and sweet once got to be known, and definitely had his own ideas. He was still a ball of fire that seemed to like spreading. And again his dictionary consulted of swear words and screams.
Yet listening to him sing these songs over and over was still like listening to it for the first time. Shivers ran down Joey's spine.
And he knew he was perfect.
But for a guy that sounded so angry, he was the most caring and softest down to earth person Joey could think of.
Joey would describe him quite cat like. Elegant, pretty, and liked his own space and ideas. Soft but packing power when struck.
And Joey loved cats.
He sighed as he took another sip as he felt someone stand over him.
He smiled "hi!"
"Hello."
Joey chuckled "I've been waiting for you."
"Sorry, I got caught up." The familiar voice asked.
Joey rolled his eyes playfully "nothing new."
"You know how shawn be"
"...well." joey giggled
Corey raised an eyebrow as he shook his head
Joey shrugged "its just how he is."
"Can I sit?"
"Why are you even asking?"
"Its polite!" Corey laughed
Hs took the chair next to Joey as Joey watched him put his hat on the table and shake off his long coat.
"You okay?" Corey asked, voice was husky, as per usual.
"Couldnt be better." Joey said quickly
He raised an eyebrow "well that's good to hear!"
"You okay?"
"Im fine."
"Are you though?"
Corey looked him in the eye with those almost new blue eyes. They were something. They were made of almost a sea water that conveyed many feelings a mood. They was a greyish hue underneath the almost bright hopeful blue.
