CHAPTER SIX

"Hi." I smiled at Julian before I sat in front of him. He just smiled back at me.

Ngayon ang start ng 2 pm review namin. Kinuha ko Ang makapal kong libro at nagsimulang basahin iyon. I get some pencil too to highlight the important details.

Whenever I review I always do this, highlight the important points for easy memorization. Not the literal memorization but more on familiarization I mean. Hindi mo naman masasaulo lahat.

Sometimes if may time sinusulat ko pa iyon para mas maalala ko talaga. That's my secret in reviewing. You should try it too.

Napahikab ako matapos ang isang oras na pagrereview. Tumingin naman bigla si Julian sa akin.

"S-sorry." Nagpeace sign pa ako pero nagulat ako nang bigla niyang isinara ang kaniyang libro at ipinasok ito sa bag.

"Hala uy sorry na nga." Nagalit ba siya?

He then walked and stand in front of me. "Pack your things."

"Huh?" I asked confusedly.

He just sighed and grabbed my books.

"Teka." Sabi ko sa sa kaniya pero hinawakan niya lang ang pulso ko at hinila ako.

Huminto pa muna kami sa gilid habang minamatyagan ang librarian. Nang mapansing nakatutok ito sa pagsusulat ay dali-dali kaming lumabas.

"Teka saan ba tayo pupunta?" I asked because he keeps on pulling me to nowhere.

"Some place where you won't be sleepy."

We stopped in a small garden near our building.

Wait. Bakit hindi ko alam na may ganito dito? I study here for 5 years now and I'm still clueless of this beautiful garden Sabagay hindi naman ako nalalagi sa Senior High Department dati.

"I first found this place first day of classes." Julian said.

"Really? I didn't even know this place exists."

Pinatong ko ang bag at libro ko sa may mesa bago prenteng umupo sa may bench.

"We can review here instead if you want."

Inilibot ko ang paningin sa paligid. Sobrang maaliwalas dito at tahimik pa.  Walang makakaistorbo sa amin dito.

"Sure, this place is peaceful enough to study." Nakangiting sabi ko sa kaniya kahit ang totoo naman ay gusto ko siyang masolo.

Habang nagbabasa ay hindi ko maiwasang sumulyap sa kaniya. Nakacrosslegs ito habang nakasandal sa may bench. Nakabukas din ang dalawang itaas na butonee niya kaya kita ang puting t-shirt nito sa loob. Halos natatakpan naman ng buhok niya ang kaniyang mata.

Suddenly he stopped reading and returned my gaze. One... Two... Three... Ten seconds had past before we stopped staring at each other. Julian then hold his collar and cleared his throat.

"I.... I am..." I tried to say something but I couldn't find any words.

"Do you like cookies?" Mabilis na sabi nito.

"What? I - I mean yes."

"Okay good." Tumayo siya. "Our review us over. I'll see you again tomorrow." He said and walked out, leaving me hanging again.

Okay what did just happened?

Pagbalik ko sa room ay saktong wala ang teacher namin kaya kinuwento ko kay Frances at Jasmine ang nangyari.
