𝐙akai's one. A whole one years old. It feels weird. He's been through so much already and he's still the happiest baby in the world. "Come, Papì." I'd just finished posting a few videos and pictures of him on my snap while we waited for the twins to get ready.
"Come!" He repeated. He couldn't say it properly - it sounded more like 'kim', but I knew he was tryna copy me.
"Yeah, come." I picked him up and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "Can you say Papì?"

"Good boyyy." I put him back down and went to the kitchen to talk to Nuk. Ever since me and Becca found out about Hunter stealing the key, we've been looking for him. He's definitely alive. We don't even know what that key is for yet. But if we don't find it by midnight... I don't wanna think about what'll happen. "You got anything?"
Nuk shook his head. "Not really, no one's called me back yet. Last night he was in McDonald's at London Bridge. Then he got on the train and we ain't had eyes on him since then. Don't worry, we'll find him. Trust me."
I can trust Nuk. When he's high, anything's possible. And he's always high. He's even high right now. "I appreciate you, man. For real."

We sat in a moment of silence, looking at each other. I spoke up, "how's your mum?"
"Still pissed," he smirked. Ever since he got shot, his mum's been on his case. I don't blame her, though. He nearly lost his life over what? "She ain't even sympath... sym... however you say that word. The woman's angry."
"Understandably. But you know you're safe now, innit?"
He hesitated. Getting shot is traumatising. Nuk's tryna put on a brave face but I saw the fear in his eyes when he stepped into the kitchen. He just doesn't wanna acknowledge that it's affected him. "...sometimes I can't sleep. Whenever I shut my eyes, I see it. I try not to think about it but it's fucking hard, man. Can't even walk down the street without my shank no more."
