Cas's phone buzzed. He took it out of his pocket to see who had messaged him. It was on low brightness so he put it right up to his face, squinting to see the screen.
"Babe, what're you doing?"
"Nuttin, I'm just tryna read this," he replies dismissively.
It's like he's never used a mobile phone in his life. "Why don't you turn up the brightness then?"
"It's fine."
"Cas, you're struggling. Just turn up the brightness, I don't understand why you're being weird," you giggled.
He sighed, then increased the brightness, like you suggested. You felt like he was hiding the screen, though. He kept tilting it the opposite way so you couldn't see.
"What're you doing?" You ask again.
"Nuttin," he replies again. He slid his phone back into his rear pocket and kissed your cheek as the car cruised into the prison gates. "Just talking to Saint. We're here, come on."

The car rolled to a halt. As it stopped, so did your heart. You'll question Cas about what he was really doing later, but for now, all you can do is stare at the prison in front of you.
This is it.
You're nervous and excited and scared all at once. The chauffeur opened your door and you clambered out; Cas following shortly behind you. It's cold here. Yes, you're in the middle of July, but this place feels like it's in its own bubble of winter all year round.
Two prison guards, one male one female, come and escort you inside. They search you and take all the necessary details before allowing you into a private visiting room. It's colder in there than it is outside.
