Good Things Come To Those Who Waits (Ravi Vixx~)

"Did it hurt?" Ravi spoke swiftly. "Let me ask my mom if it hurt while she was pushing me out." The girl replied.

From the corner of his eyes he saw a figure having a fit... fit of laughter. So he walked towards the chair, "I don't always get rejected that fast, you know." He says while leaning on the bar counter.

"But you do always get rejected?" The reply comes. "What? No. I never said that." He defends and hears chuckles.

"I am Ravi." He extends his hand. "________" She replies. They get to talking for a while. "So what are you doing here all alone?" He asks. "Why? Can't I be?" She retorts. "Of course you can." He replies. After a couple of seconds she says, "Actually I am waiting for m.........." Her phone buzzes inside her bag indicating a call.

Ya, where are you?
But we were supposed to...
Is it really important?
So... fine. I'll see you later then.

Ravi overhears the phone conversation. "So I got ditched today." ________ says turning to Ravi to which he raises his eyebrows.

"My boyfriend got called in for an emergency meeting, so he can't make it." She explains. "Boy.. This is so unfair. I thought she was single." He thinks.  "Didn't expect me say boyfriend now, did you?" She asks boldly. "Not really." He confesses while placing his hand on his nape.

Never the less Ravi and _________ enjoy a good conversion and Ravi walks her to her place. "This is me." She states. There is a good one minute pause until _______ speaks. "We should hang out sometime again." "Yea, we should." He replies half heartedly. And so she hands him her cellphone to save his number.

Ravi couldn't make himself text or call her (of course).

After a few days ________ and Ravi run into each other outside the same club.
"Hey." _______ waves.
"Oh hi _______. What are you doing here?" He asks panicking. "Was just passing by and saw a familiar figure." gesturing him.

"Still trying to pick up girls!" She exclaims full of sarcasm. "Something like that." He purses his lips.

They hang out that evening, and again after a few days, and again after a few days until it becomes a regular thing. They had already gotten close.

"She obviously like you dummy." Leo says like stating the obvious. "I don't think that's the case here." Ravi counters.
"You have been hanging out with her for 2 months now. Very frequently too." He tries to convince Ravi.
"How is that connected?" Ravi asks. "Ok, so how about the girls you've met in last month?" He asks.

"What about them?" Ravi asks confused. "How is that you never saw any of the girl after the first date? What was wrong with Amy?" Leo questions."________ said she had crazy eyes." Ravi answers. "Whatever that means." Leo says. "Then what about Jules?" He asks again. "I dunno, _______ thought she was kinda obsessive." Ravi replies. "Fine. And what about Lainey? She didn't look crazy or obsessive to me. She was really hot." He asks Ravi again.

"She wouldn't shut up about her cats. That annoyed me too." Ravi replies clearly annoyed now too.
"So other than Lainey, I don't think you had any reason not to see any of the other girls. _________ clearly doesn't want you dating" Leo states, proud of himself with the conclusion he drew.

"She has a boyfriend Leo." "Have you ever met him? Spoke to him?" Leo asks. "No." Ravi answers. "Atleast seen a picture of him?" He asks frustrated. "Never once." Ravi replies understanding what Leo was trying to say.

"So isn't it obvious? There IS no boyfriend. She clearly made him up." Leo states. "But why would she do that?" Ravi asks. "Because she is trying hard to get, duh!" Leo states. Leo whispers something inside Ravi's ear... "And see how that turns out." "Cool." Ravi says.
