No Next Time (Lee Joon MBLAQ~)

"This was the last straw, now you've had it" _________ yell at already huffing and puffing Lee Joon who is standing by the door securely holding the door frame.

This was almost the 10th time he had bailed on their date. She had waited for 2 hours before she decided to get back home. She took hold of a small cushion that was lazily laid on the couch and threw it across the living room hitting Joon on his head. 

He was still trying to catch his breath when the cushion landed on his head which made his head shot up. He furrowed his eyebrows, ran across the room and grabbed _________. He ruffled up her hair and pecked her lips even against her strong defence. They both knew she couldn't actually be mad at Joon for long. He took advantage of this, lifted _________ and pushed her on the couch.

She winced in pain but Joon was already on top of her giving sweet pecks over her neck. She couldn't resist as she left out a soft moan. She got angrier by the second and pushed Joon off of her.

"Yah!!! This is not going to work ok. I've really had it enough!" She yelled which made Joon jump. He expected her to be ticked off but not so much. He was late because all his other members had decided to get dinner before they left for home after practice. True, Joon had actually forgotten about their date.

"It's been just a year and you have already sidelined me. I mean who does that?" __________ spoke softly because she knew if she said anything any louder she would start crying. And she did not want that to happen.

"__________~ah, I am really sorry. The members wanted to have dinner and I couldn't say no." He half lied. "Please, forgive me this time. This was the last time I promise." He said pleadingly.

____________ lifter her head and walked towards Joon and whacked his head. "Next time, there will be no next time" She said confidently as she sat herself on the couch trying to calm herself down.

"I love you __________. I am sorry to make you wait and worry. Like I said, this was the last time." Joon said as he sat beside her holding her shoulder so she could lean on his chest. It was already 11 and she slept as soon as Joon started talking about his busy day.

NEXT MORNING-

Next day they made a plan to go to an amusement park, they were to meet there at 5 pm. Joon went to his agency to catch up on some choreography and __________ settled in at her study table to finish off her assignment. She was excited to go the amusement park for the first time with Joon.

It was 4.40 pm when _________ got ready and was to leave the house. Before she left she texted Joon;

"I am leaving now. Please come there by 5, sharp. You promised. See you there <3"

No reply. She figured he maybe still a little busy with the group members. She left for the amusement park.

She waited there until it was 8. It had gotten dark. The whole time she waited there different kind of thoughts ran through her mind. She'd have enough this time. She deserved as much respect as an idol did,  after all. She was not someone to wait for 3 hours, be it friend or boyfriend.

She called Joon the last time, her 15th time in last 3 hours. It again went straight to voice-mail. She slammed her phone into her purse and started to walk towards the exit. There weren't many people there so she felt free to let her tears flow without hesitation.

"_________~ah, I am sorry. But I needed time to prepare for this." She heard Joon's voice and as she turned her eyes widened due to surprise. You know the movies where the guy decorates and times the carousel in amusement park? That's exactly what she saw in front of her. "Too cliched." She said, but inside she was jumping up and down with joy. 

She saw Joon approaching her with his smile intact and when he reached in front of her, he knelt down on one knee. He brought out a small piece of sparkling box to his hand and raised it with a questioned look over his face.

She clasped her hand on her mouth. "I wanted to make it special you know. I didn't bail on you, like I promised. I wanted to give this couple rings in style." Joon said almost snobbishly.

She let out a chuckle at how stupid and adorable Joon was to do all this and yet make her wait for so long. "Your surprises sure take long." She said as she pulled Joon on his feet and hug him.

He places the ring on her finger and puts on his own ring. They raise their hand side by side admiring the rings. Joon leans in to kiss her, she smiles into the kiss.

He hugs her breaking away from the kiss. "I promise to stay by your side forever." Joon says. "I know you will." She replies.

It wasn't surprising that Joon bailed on their dates several times after that, but he made sure to make up to her with small gifts and surprises.
