The first time (D.O EXO~)

"What are they doing? Isn't he taking it a little too far?" Jayeon whispers to herself while watching D.O and Jiyeon being so lovey dovey. 

"Why does it look so real on screen?" She asks herself, irritated she switches the television off and heads towards her bedroom.

After about an hour she hears her doorbell ring, surprised to D.O in front of her.

"What are you doing here? Did we plan a date today that I completely forgot?" She asks him while rushing to her kitchen to look at the calendar.

D.O smiles while he enters, adoring how she wrote every single tiny detail on her calendar and she looked lost when she thought that she had forgotten about their date.

"Nope, I just dropped by to see you." He says walking to the kitchen and back hugging her. A small blush creeping up its way on Jayeon's cheeks. "Just to see me?" She confirms.

"Uh huh." He replies as he kisses the back of her neck sending chills down Jayeon's spine, butterflies fluttering inside her stomach. She then turns to look at D.O and pecks his lips very softly and releases herself from the hug.

"So I was watching the show you were on." She speaks sitting on the couch. "Which one?" D.O asks. "You know the one with Jiyeon." She continues. "You guys looked so comfortable with one another."

D.O giggles. "That's because we are. She is easy to talk to. I should introduce you two, you will like her." He says without hinting Jayeon's sarcasm.

"Hmmm. I guess. So how long have you guys been friends?" She asks. "Met just during the show." D.O replies while laying his head on her lap.

"I see. So not that long." She whispers. D.O gets up to look at Jayeon eye-to-eye. "Don't tell me... Are you jealous?" He asks surprised.

"Me? Jealous. Phttr. Not at all." She says. "Then what's with the sudden interest in Jiyeon and all this interrogation?" He wiggles his eyebrows.

"I wasn't interrogating. Just asking." She tries to reason. "Don't lie. You can't be this curious unless you feel jealous. Awww, baby is jealous?" He teases her while pulling her cheeks. "Yah~" She slaps his hands away.

"It's ok babe, we have been dating for a month now. You are allowed to be jealous. I find it kind of cute though and happy." He says smiling. "Happy?" She asks unsure about his sudden happiness. "Happy that you care for me, so much so that you are jealous." He says grinning, slightly proud.

"Shut up." She warns his, squinting her eyes but smiling after seeing D.O smile so widely. "Fine, maybe a little." She finally admits and gasps a little when she sees D.O fist pump in the air. They both end up laughing at each other's silliness and spend the rest of the day happily bickering, fighting and making up.

After a few days they go on a date to Lotte World, D.O finally finding some free time to take Jayeon out on a date after so long. They were in the middle of playing on Dance Dance Revolution when they hear someone call D.O. They both turn to look at the owner of the voice, surprised to see Suho there.

Suho and D.O aggressively wave at each other while the former makes his way towards them. "What are you doing here?" Suho asks.

"On a date." D.O answers raising their interlaced hands in the air to show. "Hehe oops. Did I just interrupt you two?" He asks again. "No" "Yes!" Jayeon and D.O says at the same time, Jayeon obviously saying a 'No'.

"So you wouldn't mind me joining you two, right?" He asks as he locks his arm with Jayeon's free arm. They both giggle at his childishness, not noticing D.O being slightly annoyed, but he complies.

The three of them running around and playing with all the existing games that there were, mostly Suho and D.O competing with one another; D.O losing almost all the times. Then it was time for them to head home. They greet each other good bye and Jayeon and D.O walks towards her apartment.

Now she noticed how D.O was being unhealthy silent. "Hey, what's wrong?" Jayeon asks gaining his complete attention. "Uh?" He asks. "Something wrong?" She asks again raising her eyebrows.

"Nah. Nothing. Why do you ask?" He asks back. "You seem rather quiet. It very.... um unlike you." She says trying to find the correct word. 

"It was just... Nah, nothing." D.O starts but abruptly tries to change the subject. "What do you want for dinner, let's order in hmm?" He gives a tight smile, confusing Jayeon even more. She wanted to ask him what was it that was bothering him, but she knew better to not bother him when he was in a bad mood; so she let it slide.

During dinner, the dining table was unusually silent and that kept bothering Jayeon. "Babe, tell me. What's the matter. Something wrong? Did I do something?" She asks trying to get his attention, but he was busy playing with his food on the plate. So she places her hand over his gently and D.O looks up from his plate.

"Tell me, what's wrong?" Jayeon asks calmly. "Nothing." He replies. "It's clearly not nothing D.O. Come on, you can tell me. You know I won't let go until you tell me right?" She tries to lift up the rather dull atmosphere. D.O smiles pursing his lips together.

"You are happy being with me right? I mean you like me, don't you?" He asks, Jayeon seems a little taken aback with the sudden question. "What do you mean by happy?" She asks and D.O looks at her in the eye trying to figure something out.

"I am ecstatic." She grins. "I wouldn't have gone out with you if I didn't like you right?" She gets up from her seat and walks to his chair. "Now that I have answered your questions. Tell me what's bothering you?" She asks while placing her hands on his cheeks.

"I was just.... just.... wondering.... you know. Suho... I was just...." He struggles to find right words and form proper sentences. "If you mean to ask if I like him, then yes. I do." And D.O becomes wide eyed with her response. "As a friend, I respect him and like him as a friend. As you group-mate, as your leader."  She adds gaining a wide grin from D.O.

He gets up from his chair and hugs her tightly. "Look who's being all jealous now!" Jayeon teases him, which he replies with sweeping her off her feet, now being carried to the living room bridal style. He places her on the couch, "Ok, I admit. I was a little jealous. That's because I love you way too much that even the thought of you not liking me anymore, scares the shit out of me."

Jayeon couldn't help with smile from his sudden sincere confession. "You know this is the first time you said you 'love' me and not 'like.'" She says.

"I know." D.O leans in to kiss her, smiles between their kisses. "I love you babe, I hope to stay like this forever." He says. "I love you too D.O." She replies back between their kisses.

For the first time when they said "I love you".
