Mio shows Yui her hands as Yui touches them. Yui: Y-Yeah! Feels good. Feels good. Yui keeps touching her hands as Mio gets embarrassed. Mio: Umm, are you done yet? Yui: J-Just a bit longer. Sonic: Hehe...
Few minutes later: Yui: I should practice guitar, but I don't know where to start. Mio: Here. Yui: Hmm? Mio: You should start by learning chords. Yui: Thank you! Mio: If you don't understand it, Sonic will help you. Sonic: Sure. If you need help, just let me know. Yui: Thanks, Sonic-kun. Yui opens the chord book as she was confused. Yui: S-Show me how to read music first. Sonic: (Wow...) Mio: We need to start there?!
Outside of school: Sonic and Yui goes the other way as Mio and Ritsu walks the other way as they waved goodbye. Yui: Sonic-kun, could you tell me the chords again by hands? Sonic: Sure. This is C, and this is D, and- Nodoka: Yui! Sonic! Sonic, Yui: Hmm? Sonic and Yui sees Nodoka walks towards them. Yui: Nodoka-chan! Yui raises her hand as she does a sign. Sonic: Uhh... Nodoka: (What's that? A new wave?) Sonic, Yui, and Nodoka were walking back home. Yui: Actually, Sonic-kun and the others taught me guitar chords today. Nodoka: So, you're working hard at it. Sonic: If she wants to get better, then yeah, basically. Yui: By the way, you're heading home later than usual. Nodoka: Yeah, I was studying for the midterm exams at the library. Yui: Heh?... Few seconds later of silence as Yui was surprised. Yui: What?! Midterm exams?! Yui does another sign. Nodoka: (Is that a chord too?) Sonic: Huh? You didn't know, Yui? Yui: Nope. Sonic: Oh well. Yui: So, midterms are coming up already. I was just about to start practicing guitar a lot... Nodoka: But you haven't studied for exams since junior high. Sonic: Wow, really? Yui: Oh yeah! Then I'll be fine, right? Nodoka: No, you're not fine... Sonic: It starts tomorrow too. Yui: Tomorrow?! Sonic: Yeah. Yui: Ugh... Nodoka: Yui? Sonic: Yui, you'll be fine. I can't be that hard.
The next day in class: The class was taking the midterm exams as Sonic was writing down the answers. Yui was having a hard time knowing them. The other classes have Mio, Ritsu, and Tsumugi working on the exam too.
After the exam in the music room: Ritsu: Finally free from exams! Tsumugi: I had a hard time with the material since it's a lot harder in high school. Mio: Yeah. And... there's someone in even bigger trouble. Sonic: Yep. Mio: Was it that bad? Sonic: Oh, you don't wanna know. She's the only one in class who failed with a 12. Look. Yui shows the others her score in her exam.
