It hadnt been so long since johnny had gone missing. He left the 28th and it was now july 1st. But it was driving Dally insane. The gang couldnt have one single calm moment. Guess it was true, without Johnny none of them could get along. They seemed to argue a lot. Especially Dally and Pony. "Its been four days, and we have found nothing!"
"Look we're all trying okay? Not only you Dallas!" Ponyboy snapped back, getting tired of the yelling.
"Four days! Do you know how long that is?"
"Johnny is strong he can surv-" soda was cut off by Pony who yelled back
"Johnny wanted to leave! Of course he's going to survive! Because he wanted to leave! Why? Because you were such a shitty boyfriend that you cheated on hi-"
"Boyfriend?" The room went silent and Dally and Ponyboy stared at each other scared and shocked. He didnt just say that, did he?
"Dally." Dally turned to Darry who had spoken his name, "Were you and Johnny dating?" Dally turned to the floor. "Uh. Yeah. We were."
"Why would you do that to him?"
"I dont know." And he was being honest. He didnt know. Just how he didnt know why he told Johnny he wasnt interested, or refused to get with him no matter how much he cared about him. He didnt know.
