Chapter 16: The End

Gemini's POV

"I..." Nakapikit parin yung mga mata ko when I woke up. Boses.. ba toh ni Derrick?

"I.. love you." Salita niya saki-- HAH?

I tensed, regaining awareness of my surrounding.

No way, no f-cking way.

Luh, ano yung narinig ko na sinabi ni Derrick? Luh. Luh. LUH.

Kaya napamulat ako kaunti ng mga mata ko, trying to sneak a peek and there, his face instantly went closer, LUH ANONG GAGAWIN NETO?

And his arms snaked around my waist and embraced me tightly. I froze like a mannequin in my position. For some reason, I feel.. I don't know, I feel weird.. and.. just, weird. 

Nakatuon yung ulo niya sa balikat ko habang nakayakap siya sakin while repeating,

"I love you.. I f-cking love you." Kaya napapikit ako ng mga mata ko. This is a dream.

A dream. This is a dream. Wait, no-- why would I even dream about something like this?

In realization, a rush of warmth instantly flowed through me, causing my hands to sweat. Dude.. is that my heart beating?

Ulit niya pa as I gulped slowly. It was as if, lightning pulsed through me. I.. can seriously hear my heart beating.. And.. f-ck.. he's.. wait,

Is he crying? "..Why.. can't you just be f-cking mine.."

Derrick's POV

I went around, I took that glass figurine with me. I held onto it and in a second, it slips out of my hand. It breaks.. it shatters..

And there's no fixing a glass figurine shattered into small pieces. Besides, even if you did try, you'd only end up with blood on your finger tips. Not only that, it would end up incomplete no matter what in the end.

I'd rather just.. sweep it and throw it away. I.. can't.. I just can't. Knowing the outcome, being aware of what would happen, it.. it's unbearable.

This is just like a math problem, there are specific solutions to every problem and there's an explaination for every conflict. If you get wrong, you've only got yourself to blame because it has a system.

In this case, the only difference is that there are too many factors to consider. Add to that human morality and human sentience. There, it's only close to unpredictable because errors are inevitable. Still, you can predict it.

You can just say, I solved the problem before it even got handed out to me. I solved it and ended up with an answer I feared would show.

Where I can only assume that once Gemini becomes aware of what I truly feel, my world will stop. It will stop.

"J..Jemi..?!" Gulat na salita ko nang itulak niya ko palayo. Holy.. f-ck, h-he's awake!

Tahimik lang siyang nakatingin sakin, his face.. was red all over and he's panting as if running out of breath. While I, on the other hand, my eyes were puffy and my nose was red from crying. AND GOD KNOWS HOW SCARED I AM RIGHT NOW!

Before Gemini could say anything, fear flooded my thoughts and the only thing I could do to protect my feelings was,

"G-get out." I spoke, my voice breaking and my hands shaking. "Please.. f-cking get.. out!" I shouted at him that I could feel a vein pop out of my throat as he flinched in response.

At doon, tumayo agad siya, zipped open the tent, and got out as fast as he could.

And.. as excruciatingly painful as it can be, I've known since the beginning that there's no good ending for this story I have with him.
