Chapter 8

"When did you get this!?" Asami asked in shock, getting Korra's attention who was digging in her trunk for a hoodie since Asami took hers.

"When did who get what?" Korra asked before slipping into another one of her hoodies and looking at Asami.

Asami turned to her girlfriend in shock before pointing to the person. "When did -she- get -that-." she said then pointing to the Audi.

Korra's eyes widened once she saw the car. She looked back to the person then the car and back to the person. "When did this happen!?"

"Yesterday actually" responded the person.

"What happened to the other car?" Korra asked as she leaned back against her trunk.

"Sold it to my cousin." the person responded.

Asami started slowly and took 2 steps towards the car in a daze before being pulled between Korra's legs whose arm wrapped around her hip keeping her there. Korra laughed a little at the pout Asami was giving her for not letting her mechanic mind run wild at the new car. Korra shook her head and turned to the person who was now putting their bags in the trunk.

"Well the car looks good, Anali. We're for sure gonna race one of these days with that one!" Korra exclaimed, still holding the heiress in place.

Anali laughed as she walked over to the drivers seat. "I'll hold you to that. See you guys tomorrow!" She said before getting into the car and driving off.

Asami watched in awe as the car dove out of the parking lot then turned back to pout at her girlfriend who was still holding her. "Meanie..." she childishly spoke, crossing her arms.

Korra laughed again before giving Asami's pout a quick kiss as she got up and let her go. "Love you too, princess."

"Hmph." Asami still pouted as she walked to the passenger side and quickly got in. Crossing her arms and keeping her pout as she slumped into the seat making Korra laugh as she watched through the window. She was about to get in when she heard her name get called and turned to see Kiara running up to her. "Everything okay?"

"Ye-Yeah. Sorry but I was wondering if I could get your number...for volleyball...if I have questions..." She asked shyly out of breath.

"Oh yeah of course, here let me put it in for you so you can catch your breath. Lean against the hood." Korra said with a laugh as she took Kiara's phone and put in her number. "All right, done. You good?"

"Yeah and thanks! See you tomorrow!" Kiara said standing straight and heading over to a parked car a few yards away.

Korra laughed as she got into the car to a still pouting girlfriend. "Come on princess don't be like that."

"No...You didn't let me play..." Asami said, still pouting but now looking at Korra making her heart clench at how cute it was.

"Well...I was going to let you play tomorrow at lunch to have more fun but since I'm a 'meanie' I guess not," Korra said teasingly as she pulled out of the parking lot.

"Wait! No no no...I take it back!" Asami said, placing both her hands on Korra's right one that was resting on the steering wheel. "Baby!"

Korra just laughed not looking away from the road. "All right, All right! Grab my phone please."

"Okay okay!" She said as she took Korra's phone from the cup holder and opened it.

"Hey Shu. call Ace L through the car phone please." Korra called out, making the phone light up, then started to call the libero. Ring! Ring!...Ring! Ring! Click!
