I get down on one knee as I look out over the fortress of the guard, if you could even call it a fortress. Its stone walls, once huge and strong are now crumbling as if reflecting the mood of the city it self. I cringe my face in disgust.

"This place wouldn't be like that if it weren't for him."I whisper to myself as I look around for the entry point.

Mark had a meeting with the Lord protecter today and that is when I'm supposed to get in. None of their cameras would detect me when I'm shadow, they would just glance over me as if I weren't there. I smile to myself as I pull up my hood, standing up.

"We are coming to get you Johnson... After today, you will be home again."

I feel my eyes start to get red again and I start to breath slowly. Making them turn crimson instead. I let out a small growl as I take a step off of the building, making myself appear on top of one of the tall stone fence post that is along the tall metal fence around the fortress. I look around and notice the electricity going though the fence and I smile, making two daggers appear in my paws. I jump off the fence post, landing on my feet. I look around, leaving my hood up. I smile to myself as I turn myself into shadow, leaning against the concrete post. I cross my arms and look up at the sky.

Come on, hurry up Mark. I think to myself. He is suppose to meet me here in a little bit.

I hear a rumbling behind me and and I feel the concrete shaking. I smile to myself and I take a long step to the side. I look at the post as a large hole appears at the bottom of it, large enough for Mark to walk though.

"Oh I haven't done that in forever. Now where are ya, puppy?" I hear Mark say and I giggle, turning back to normal as the hole goes away as if it weren't there.

"Well hey there, Mr. Roo. Nice power by the way. Should make it easy with the concrete, most of the hold is made of it." I say to him with a grin.

"Ahh shut it and let's get going before daylight comes. Get that tail moving will ya?"

I shake my head a bit and smile as I start walking towards the side entrance, "Oh and what are ya gonna do? Throw some pebbles at a shadow?" I say with a giggle. I let out a small yelp as I feel heat on my rear, making me jump. "Hey! What was that?!"

"Ever heard of fire? Now go or do I have to carry you?" Mark says with a grin.

"Yeah Yeah Yeah, I can walk by myself, thanks. Now try to keep up." I say I use the shadows to make me run faster, leaving a trail of black mist as I go towards the door.

I stop as I see two guards walk outside of the metal door, turning into shadow and cursing my self under my breath. "Fucking guards..." I say under my breath.

I hear someone behind me and I look, seeing Mark and I motion for him to get behind me.

"What is it?" Mark whispers.

"Guards, should we take them out or sneak past them. We don't want anyone to know we are here..."

"You've taken out plenty of the city guard and left not a signal trace. Go do your stuff."

I nod my head and start walking towards them, staying close to the wall. Wait a minute... What am I doing? I shake my head and run towards the guard, turning into shadow and not making a sound. I step up onto the steps leading towards the door so I'm behind the guards. I grin and slowly move my daggers so that each is an each from the front of their necks.

I yank my arms and paws back, hearing the sound of metal going though flesh and bone as I hear their bodies and heads hit the ground. Black mist forms around them and they disappear, along with their blood. I look over towards the way I came and see Mark jogging towards me. He stops in front of me and grins.

"Nice, remind me later that I'm definitely going to fuck your brains out..." I blush deeply as he says that and I take a step to the side. He puts a paw on the door and the door sinks into the ground.

He takes a step inside of the dark room and I follow, the door coming back out the ground and going back in its place as if nothing ever happened.
