Chapter 8

"Come on Rose, you can win this one." Enzo cheered as I overtook Kai.

We were playing a video game of Leo's. It was Enzo and me against Kai and Leo. Don't think that the team was unfair. Leo was better than all of us. But sometimes I did beat him. Leo had to be beaten sometimes. But you do not want to be the victim of his anger when he loses by a large margin.

"Kai I will kill you if you lose." Leo threatened. Ha. I had  to win this game. Then there would be freedom at last.

"I won't kill you Rose. I just wont let you play with Lex for a week." Enzo put an arm around me and smirked. This was way worse. I can not survive without pinching Lexi's cheeks every once in a while. She is so cute.

"No you won't Enzo." I increased my speed.

"Oh yes I will. She is my daughter, Rose." he shook his head.

"Shut up the both of you. My brother is trying to concentrate over here." Leo said irritatedly.

"So is my friend." Enzo turned his head to Leo. "And as per my knowledge Kai has a great level of concentration unless..." he cut off suggestively.

"Yay! I won" I teased Kai my car passed the finish line. I got up and started doing a victory dance to annoy him more.

"Good. I wasn't interested anyway." liar. He says this because he lost. No one would think he wasn't interested if they had seen him a few minutes ago. Bastard.

"Oh really?" I mocked him and made a fake innocent face.

"Whatever." he went away. Loser.

Kai's POV

I had to get rid of this. Rose is driving me crazy right now. Her sass is a huge turn on for me. Overall, sass is a turn on for me, I guess. But I never knew this before because no lady other than this one had the nerves to talk to me that way.  And today she looked super hot in that shorts and crop top. It took me a whole different level of self control to be the 'intimidating' kind of person I usually am.

 Stop it Kai. I told myself. My thoughts were getting out of control. I couldn't let that happen.

I needed a good fuck to get her off my mind. I called Jasmine. She was ready for a fuck with me 24/7 and was always the 'no strings attached' kind of person.

Rose's POV

I wanted to have another game with Kai just to annoy him. Boy, did I like that. It was the best timepass available in this mansion besides roaming around of course not in the out of bounds places and talking to others.

I went to his 'throne' room.

"King is busy right now." one of the guards who looked a lot like the combination of a gorilla and a really dumb statue stopped me from entering his 'work and throne' room.

"Yeah okay. You are Xavier right?" I remembered Leo mentioning him before. But I just pretended that I was looking him up and down. Although all of them looked the same in those suits of theirs.

"Yes." he replied in a robot like manner. His gaze was fixed to the end of the hall.

"So you are the one Leo was looking for." I said as if all made sense now. "He seemed very angry. You might want to go and meet him before he decides to come and drive a bullet straight through your head. Oh and you too." I said pointing to the other guard standing beside him. If both of them went the coast was clear.

"Oh no." both of them ran towards the direction of Leo's room. Eureka!

Easy peasy . Not bothering to knock, I pushed open the door and regretted it instantly. There Kai was alone, in his office standing only in his boxers. I covered my eyes quickly. I mean, who stands nearly naked in their office.

"What the fuck are you doing here?! Guards!" he growled while slipping on his pants. Thank god.

"Holy crap Kai. Is this what you call 'busy'? Standing naked alone in your office?!"

"First of all, listen to the damn guards next time. And who said I am alone?" he turned his head towards the other side of the room.

I followed his gaze to see a lady sitting on the couch, lying completely naked. 

Eww. What the fuck! Who has sex during midday? I had surely lost my appetite for lunch.

"You can go now." he said to the lady. 

"But we haven't even-"  she started.

"Just go." he cut her off pointing towards the door.

"Ok Whatever. You will regret this, you bitch." she put on her clothes. Then she walked towards the door and bumped into my shoulder intentionally. But I am not the kind of girl to stumble or something. In fact I did not even move. She got angrier and practically stormed off muttering curse words under her breath.

 I had to hold in my laugh because after looking at Kai the situation seemed partly serious and partially funny. But I did not want to make it totally serious by doing something wrong.

 Did I mention he was still shirtless?

"What do you want?" his face was impassive.

"Nothing. I just wanted to have another round of game with you. But it looks like you are 'busy' so let it be. And I lost my appetite for lunch because of this." I stated.

"Not my fault." he shrugged and left.

I know this chapter is a little short but it was 500 words when I had first written it. So I guess it is not that bad when I made it nearly double length.
