Chapter 17

I put on a bathrobe on my black bikini as I stepped out of the pool. It was just to stop the men in the mansion from gawking at me. Not that they wouldn't otherwise. But they would never do that when Kai was somewhere around.

I removed the bathrobe and threw it on the floor as I entered the room. I looked up and my jaw dropped to the ground. My room was beautifully decorated. There were flowers and petals all around the room. There was a pretty dress and a box of chocolates on my bed.

I walked over to the bed and opened the box of chocolates first. I put a big piece of chocolate in my mouth and then turned towards the dress. It was a red mini dress with lace. 

"So Rose Walters, can we have dinner tonight?" Kai stepped out of a corner. I didn't even notice him there. He scared me.

"You scared me Kai. And what's so special about today? We have dinner everyday." I said as I got up from the bed, Kai standing just inches away from me. I know he was asking me out on a date but I wanted his arrogant ass to say it out loud and beside,  annoying him is a hobby of mine. I love playing hard to get.

"You know... I meat to say together. Just us. Like umm... a date."

"And what makes you think I will be going on a date with you?" I was trying to control my laugh. By this time even he knew I was joking. His smirk told me that he was going to play along.

"Well, you are a beautiful woman. And words can't ever describe how sexy, hot handsome, irresistible man I am." he said with a smirk plastered on his face.

"What's the point other than you being the arrogant man that you are?" I riased my eyebrow.

"Let's start this over again." he took a deep breath. "Rose Walters, will you go on a date with me?" This time he said it in what I thought was the most romantic way. He pulled me by my waist towards himself. His hands touching my bare skin.

" Of course I will go." I smiled as I put my hand on his chest and looked up in his eyes. They lit up with happiness.

"Yes!" he said as he crashed his lips on mine.

I was totally freaking out right now. Kai had told me to be ready by 7pm. I had only an hour to get ready. Oh god, why did I choose to watch Netflix? I still had to shower, dry and style my hair wear the dress and do a little makeup. Thank god that I didn't apply a lot of makeup which would take a lot mere time.

Calm down. I told myself. 

Like I said. Freaking out.

I took a long 30 minute shower which was short for me. It took me nearly an hour when I decided to wash my hair. I wrapped a towel around myself and walked out. I dried my hair and decided to just curl them and let them stay that way.

I then walked into my closet and put on a pair of my black Victoria's Secret underwear before taking the dress. Finally, time to try it on.

I looked at myself in the mirror. The dress fit me perfectly, showing all my curves at the right places. I paired it with cream coloured heels and put on a white gold chain bracelet. And obviously the my pendant. I never removed that.

I applied a red lipstick and some mascara. That's it.

I grabbed my bag and reached downstairs just 5 minutes before 7. In time. 

Kai was waiting for me. He looked super hot in that black suit of his.

"You look gorgeous." Kai said as he pecked my lips.

"You don't look too bad yourself." I intertwined my hand with his and walked towards the door.

I gasped with surprise as we reached the date location. It was on the beach and it was decorated beautifully. The whole place was lit with small lamps and there was a huge tent in the middle. I know it sounds very cliché but anyone would love it when they saw this.

"Did you do all of this?" I asked Kai.

"Yeah most of it except the tent and the tables. I made my men do it. But all of it was my idea. Do you like it?" he scratched his neck nervously.

"Are you kidding?! I love it." I said excitedly.

We did some small talk throughout dinner. The dinner was awesome. It was Italian themed. We had pasta and spaghetti and obviously desert.

"Hey Rose,"  Kai looked up at me as he tipped the waiter. "Do you want to go on a walk on the beach with me?" he asked.

"Sure." I said as I stood up.

I removed my heels and held them in my left hand and interwined my right hand with Kai's.

"I want to ask you something." Kai said as I gazed at the night sky, the sound of waves calming me.

"Yes, go on." I said still looking at the sky."

"I don't know how to put this and I don't care if it's too late or too early but Rose, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked with a nervous tone to his voice. My head whipped to him as he said this. Though, I think somewhere in the back of my mind, I knew this was coming.

"Yes. I will!" He engulfed me in a hug, leaving no space between our bodies. I can't believe that we are now officially a couple! I pulled back and kissed his soft, pink lips. I could literally feel his happiness pouring out of him while I kissed him.
