(Haileys P.O.V.)
Zander creaks open the door to reveal Jake holding a knife up to his stomach....
"JAKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I exclaim while bursting the door open
"H-huh?" Jake flinches
I grab the knife from his hand and throw it to the opposite side of the room, I grab Jakes shoulders and examine him. He looked the same, except his facial expression was full of confusion and fear.
"Jake are you crazy!? Your scar hasn't fully healed yet!" Milly exclaims
"I-I couldn't control myself......I was trapped in darkness...." Jake replies
"Th-thats exactly how I felt when the shadow was putting me down!" Luke exclaims
"We need to get out now." Daisy says
"Agreed" I reply
We all run towards the front door and burst it open then gather infront of the house on the street
"Are we all here?" Elliot asks
"Yeah I'm pretty sure we're all here" Sean answers
I look around to see Luke and Jake comforting eachother
"Luke? Jake? Are you guys okay?" I ask
"Yeah we're just......a little shaken up" Jake replies plastering a fake smile on his face
I let out a sigh
"How about we all come to Zanders and I's house to discuss this?" I suggest
"Im down" Milly says
"Are you sure we can come?" Elliot asks
I turn around to see Elliot and Daisy looking not so sure
"Yeah, I mean just because you aren't in the music club doesn't mean we can't be friends" I assure them
"Ok ill come" Elliot smiles
"Me to!" Daisy exclaims
"Btw why were you guys walking home together? No offense" Zander asks
"Oh! We live near eachother and we have a brother and sister kinda relationship" Daisy explain
"I see, well we should go before it gets dark" I say
~After arriving at house~
"Alright does anyone want something to drink or eat?" I ask
"Water please" Luke and Jake answer
I look at them and just sigh
"Ok..Zander can you come and help me?" I look towards my stepbrother
"Yeah, coming" Zander stands up and follows me out if the room as we walk downstairs
(Luke's P.O.V.)
I look towards Jake and signal him that I needed to talk with him privately
"Me and Luke are gonna go with Hailey and Zander" Jake says
"Ok, we'll wait" Daisy smiles
We head out the door and close it quietly as we sneak downstairs and out the front door
"Have you been feeling weird ever since......that thing trapped us in darkness?" I ask
"Yeah..." Jake sighs
"Have.....we been put under some spell or something?" Jake looks at me worriedly
"I honestly don't know......but I can't lie when I say I don't feel normal, whatever that means" I mumbled the last part
"Whatever this thing wants to do, it has bad intentions.....we need to stop it, before our friends get touched by the darkness" Jake explains
"Your right, we need to stop it somehow without our friends getting hurt" I add
"Hmmmmmmmm.........." Jake wonders beside me
"I have an idea, but its dangerous" I think aloud
"Yeah?"
"What if.......
We use ourselves as bait?"
