Chapter 27

I slowly turn around and see Conner glaring at me. Shit. "So now you appear." He shrugs while I glare at him.

"Who are you talking to?" I look at Jeremy and smirk.

"Conner." He looks shocked so I just turn around and continue walking. "Come on."

"Maybe if you are nicer to this one then he might stay alive." I scoff.

"Please, who am I ever nice to?" I think but put my hand up. "Don't answer that." We walk back to the house in silence where I find my family on the couches.

"How was it?" I shrug and fall onto the couch.

"Alright." Jeremy looks at me shocked.

"That's what you call alright?" I look at Conner to see he is smirking.

"Better than what she taught me first." I smirk thinking about it.

"Serena where's Conner?" I point to where he is and she groans. "You killed him didn't you?"

"Of course I did Em. Who would think i wouldn't?" She groans and Klaus walks in and looks at me annoyed.

"He would have helped me get the cure." I shake my head.

"He wouldn't trust me." He picks me up by the neck but I don't care. "Shut up Conner!" Klaus locks me in a room with him in it. "That's it? Locking me up? I'm perfectly sane." Conney snorts.

"If sane you mean killing one of your creations then sure." I ignore him and look at Klaus.

"Not for long." I lean on the bed and sigh. "Nothing in here can kill you." I look at the four bed posts and smirk.

"Maybe not but I bet in the next day I won't be mad." He walks out of the room while I watch him and smirk.

"I think I may pay Elena a visit. May I?" I sigh but nod.

"Have fun." He nods and leaves me. Soon enough I hear the door being opened and Elena is thrown in then the door is closed. "Hello again Elena."

"Why can I see Conner?" He appears and I shrug.

"Beats me. I think he a bone to pick with you or make you want to kill yourself. One of them is right." Conner nods while I lay on the bed. "Best get used to it love. We are going to be here for a while." She joins me and Conner chuckles. "What Conner?" He looks at me and shrugs.

"How are you not going insane?" I look at Elena and chuckle.

"Sweetie, nothing with make me insane. Conner just makes me laugh, I had to kill him but you see it doesn't affect me much." She nods and looks upto the ceiling.

"Why me? I wasn't going to kill him." I groan and sit up while looking at the door.

I hear someone on the other side but I don't pay attention just yet. "He wants someone to pay. Since I created them I get to help them, as soon as a younger hunter is found the old one dies. That is the rules, if I am not there nor is the other creator the old hunter teaches them everything while the new one learns. As soon as it is over the old one kills theirselves and finds someone to haunt." She nods and I go to the door to see Damon and Stefan there. "Bye guys, have fun Elena."

"Wait. Serena?" I look at Elena and she comes and hugs me. "Thank You." I hug her back and smile.

"Your Welcome. Don't let Conner get to you, between you and me he's an ass." I sense Conner behind me so I smirk.

"Rude!" I ignore him and walk out.

"Klaus! I'm leaving!" I walk out and find my car still here.

"Don't go too far Serena. I may require your assistance." I nod and walk into my car and drive away leaving Mystic Falls for as long as I can.
