The Slytherin Common Room was a mess that early morning. When the students woke up all they could see how their common room was covered by red and yellow. Everything that used to be green, now was yellow and everything silver or black was now red. Even their robes turned into Gryffindor ones.
"My father will hear about this!" Lucius Malfoy exclaimed and immediately going to owl his father
"I don't know how Abraxas can stand you" Veronica laughed at the boy
The Slytherins spent all day, with the help of Slughorn, trying to get their common room back to its normal colours. But still, they have to attend their classes in Gryffindor robes all day.
"Looking good, Riddle" James Potter chuckled when he saw the girl sitting down beside him for Transfiguration.
He was talking to a smily Lily Evans putting an arm around her waist while she laughed at everything he said.
"Oh look Potter, you got yourself a girlfriend" Veronica fakely smiled at the pair
"Oh! Don't act as if you give a fuck" he replied
"I don't, it's just funny to me. Such a lovely pair" Veronica said
She didn't even admit to herself, but she felt something when she saw James Potter that cozy with Lily Evans. It hurt even if she didn't recognized it.
Potter and Riddle didn't speak anymore at the class. They just listened at Minerva McGonagall and perfected their Transfigurations.
"I know it was you" Veronica suddenly spoke
"What?" James turned to her
"The common room. It was you four" the girl stated confidently
"You don't know that" The boy raised his glasses with his left hand
"I do, just prepare for when the Slytherins strike back" Veronica innocently smiled and focused back on the lesson
James Potter was worried, he was not sure anymore if Veronica was capable of hurting him.

"Why do you have so much interest in this ring?" Veronica Riddle asked the boy sitting in front of her pissed at him for talking everyday about the damn ring
"I just find it curious" Regulus Black replied
"Well, don't. It's just a family heirloom, Black. Nothing more" the girl just replied
"Are you sure?" The younger boy asked
"About what?" Veronica asked him
"I don't know, it can contain some kind of magic or something. You uncle gave it to you after all" Sirius' younger brother stated
"Are you implying that my ring has Dark Magic in it?" The girl scoffed offended
"Perhaps" the boy replied combing his black locks with his hands
"Please Regulus, my uncle is not trying to curse me. He probably thought I was old enough to have a piece of family heirloom, that's it" the young Riddle tried to explain to her friend
Silence fell in the common room. Regulus Black looked at Veronica inspecting her, he knew something was going on with that ring.
"You know horcruxes contain the biggest form of Dark Magic in existance?" Regulus suddenly asked
"Of course I know" Veronica replied but it took her a few seconds to finally realised what he meant "You don't really think this is a horcrux, right?" She scoffed showing off her ring
"I don't know for sure" the boy replied
"You don't know what you're talking about. I'm out" Veronica scoffed and headed to her dorm room
A horcrux, that's stupid. She already had one and Voldemort announced her what it was, she would've known if it was a horcrux.
Veronica had Tom Riddle's notebook hidden in her room, she had put numerous spells protecting it and she guessed it would be more safe with her than if she left it in an unknown location.
She took the notebook from the shelf she had it in but noticed something soft next to it. Taking it she saw it was a piece of red and yellow fabric. It was a Quidditch jersey, James Potter's Quidditch jersey.
She noticed something familiar, a smell she had been craving lately.
Fresh grass, hot chocolate and smoke
She put the jersey into her closet and decided to grab some hot chocolate, even if she didn't like hot chocolate while she thought of a prank to strike back the Gryffindors.

"That looks better" Veronica smirked to herself when she changed all of the Gryffindor's colours to green and black.
She than walked to the dorms and walked straight into one she knew who it belonged to. The Marauders.
The room was a mess, just as she remembered it. The four boys were snoring loudly, each in a different and strange posture. James even had his glasses still on.
Laughing to herself at the scene she knew exactly what to do to make sure the Marauders never messed with the Slytherins again.
"Serpensortia"
And in a few more minutes the room was full of snakes going around it and hissing misteriously.
"Don't hurt the boys, just scare them" Veronica said in parseltongue receiving replied from all the snakes
Just as she was leaving Gryffindor's common room she heard a high pitched scream.
"PRONGS! WE ARE UNDER ATTACK. MOONY DO SOMETHING" Sirius Black's voice was so loud it could be heard from the entire castle
"That's what you get for messing with the Slytherins" Veronica muttedred to herself as she made her way back to the dungeons
