Chapter 18

(Y/n)'s POV
When the elevator came to a stop, we all stepped out and went to our podiums. The room looked so empty.

"Let's start with the murder weapon. Shuichi, have you found that out yet?" I spoke first. Shuichi nodded. "I found out that the weapon came from Maki's ultimate lab. It's a knife."

"Sooo Maki's responsible. That's what you're saying right?" Kokichi said in his usual voice. Maki glared at him. "Maki Roll didn't do it!" Kaito shouted. "We should find out everyone's alibi's before we start accusing anyone, Kokichi." Shuichi said.

"Yea! What my sidekick said!" Kaito agreed with Shuichi. "Kiibo let's start with you." I said. "M-Me? U-um, I was w-with T-Tsumugi in h-her lab." Kiibo stuttered out. "Kiibo are you ok? Are you having a malfunction?" Tsumugi asked with fake worry.

"Huh? Weren't you with me?" Kaito asked. "I-I, um, w-was b-but w-when w-we split up, I-I was with her." Kiibo said. "Wow! I didn't know robots stutter!" Kokichi said. "That's Robophobic!" He didn't stutter this time.

"After you guys left, I went back to my room." Maki said. "That's not an alibi silly!" Kokichi said. She glared at him again. "Do you want to die?" "I can testify to what Kiibo was saying. He was trying on cosplays with me."

"Me and Himiko were together the whole time." I said. "I was the last one with Rantaro. I suggested that we split up to cover more ground and so we did." Shuichi said. 'He's probably feeling responsible for Rantaro dying.' I thought.

"You really shouldn't have said that. Now you'll be a suspect." Kokichi said, putting a finger over his mouth. "As long as we find his killer, I'm fine with that." Shuichi said. "You know, I would like to find out where Kokichi was. He's suspicious right now." Maki spoke up.

"Oh, me? Well that's an easy one! I was kidnapped by the mastermind!" Kokichi said. Maki sighed in annoyance. "Kokichi, tell the truth." Himiko said.

"Yea. He's suspicious." Kaito agreed. "Mhm. I agree." Tsumugi said. "Guys! But if he's not, doesn't that mean he knows who the mastermind is?" I said. The room went silent. "Do you know who it is, Kokichi?" Shuichi asked.

"It's Tsumugi!" He said. I could tell that he knew they wouldn't believe him. "W-What? How would someone as plain as me be the mastermind?!" Tsumugi said. "I-I w-was w-with h-her." Kiibo started stuttering again.

"Let's not focus on the mastermind right now. We have to find out who killed Rantaro." Shuichi said. "But the mastermind probably killed Rantaro!" I said. "I know it!" "Calm down, (Y/n). We'll find the mastermind but first we have to find  this trials killer." Shuichi said. I took a deep breath and then nodded. "Ok."

"Now, Me and (Y/n) found a bottle of poison near his body." Shuichi said. "It came from my lab. It's not a poison used for killing, but for weakening the victim." "That means this killer was most likely weaker than him, right?" Maki said. "I think so."

"Shouldn't that mean me, Kokichi, Himiko and (Y/n)?" Tsumugi said. "We can cross Himiko and (Y/n). They were with each other." Shuichi said. "A-and w-we c-can c-cross off T-Tsumugi." Kiibo said. Shuichi nodded.

"The only one left is Kokichi." Kaito said. "It can't be him." I said. "Why not?" Maki said. "I just don't think it could've been him." I said. I didn't have any reasons that he wasn't the culprit but I know it wasn't him.

"Everything adds up. You can't deny the truth." Maki said. "Monokuma! We're ready to vote!" Kaito yelled. "Okie dokie then! Please make sure to vote 3 times!" Monokuma said.

We all voted. "All except 1 voted for Kokichi Ouma! (Y/n)! You really shouldn't have voted yourself because the killer of Rantaro Amami, is indeed the Ultimate Supreme leader, Kokichi Ouma!"
