FORBIDDEN FEELINGS part 2

Chapter 12- Love is in the Air

October and November goes pretty fast. I spend a lot of time with Cedric and I dodge Malfoy a lot. Professor Lengel has been talking to Malfoy so much. It's actually kind of weird. She always keeps him behind after lessons. I'm lowkey worried for him.

Tutoring with Dean has been so much easier, but I kind of miss Malfoy teaching me as he made it quite fun, whereas Dean just tells me the answers and that's it.

We didn't do much for Halloween this year. We just dressed up and hung out in our Common Rooms. I've been getting on so well with my friends.

People haven't stopped arguing about who won the duel between Cedric and Malfoy. I keep telling Cedric he won to make him feel good but if I'm being honest, I have no idea who won.

On the 1st of December we got our Secret Santa's. I got Malfoy. Great. I don't even know what I'm going to get him.

It's Saturday the 3rd December and Cedric and I have arranged a date at a fancy restaurant in Hogsmeade. I get into some jeans and a nice top and I go into the common room.

"You look nice" Dean says, smiling.

I smile back and say "Thank you."

"Have a good time tonight, Jessa" Neville says and I thank him.

I open the door and Cedric is standing there in a shirt and black trousers. Wow. He has a blazer over his shoulder and his fist is out as he was about to knock on the door. He looks amazing and he smells OUTSTANDING! He smiles and looks me up and down "You look beautiful."

"You don't look too bad yourself."

He blushes and gets his wand out "I have something for you. Orchideous" a bouquet of flowers pop out the end of the wand.

"Impressive." I say, smiling. 

He laughs and puts his wand back in his pocket. He offers his hand and I grab it. He leads me down the moving staircase. His hand is kind of moist but it's really soft. I feel comfortable and safe when I'm around him.

He takes me to the main courtyard where there is a horse and carriage slightly floating above the ground. "Wait, is that for us?" I ask in shock. He smiles and pulls me to the door of the carriage. He opens the door and says "Ladies first."

"Thank you, kind gentleman."

I get in and he sits down next to me. I look out the window and I see Malfoy in the doorway of the Great Hall. He looks incredibly jealous. That's what he gets for treating me disrespectfully... I guess.

We set off, flying into the sky. This is so magical. I can see the clouds and the stars. It's so beautiful.

We arrive at the fancy restaurant and we get taken to our seats. The place isn't too busy. There's only couples in here as it's a couples only night. There's classical music playing on a piano and I can hear the faint chatter and clanking of the other couples. We get wine poured into our glass as we have a glance at the menu.

We both pick a steak and start tucking in.

"It's been so different since you've been in my life, Jessa" Cedric says.

"God, if you didn't come into my life, I'd probably be stuck with Malfoy" I joke.

"Wow. I came at the right time then."

We share a laugh.

"You're just so special to me Jessa. You treat me with so much respect and kindness. I don't deserve it" he continues.
