Chapter 19- Real Friends

It's now Saturday the 21st January and Hermione invites us all on a picnic on a mountain. She finally got her birthday wish lol. We're all having such a laugh; I wouldn't replace these people for the world. My life is going so well at the moment. Even though I miss Cedric a bit, I'm living my best life. As everyone is chatting, I'm thinking about Malfoy. Why am I still thinking about him? He's a dick but I crave him. I suddenly think of a great idea.

"Let's play a game" I shout.

"What game?" Harry asks curiously.

"Kiss, marry, kill."

Everyone looks at me, confused. Oh yeah, forgot that this was a Muggle game. Ron asks what the game is, so I explain, and they catch on pretty fast.

"Who wants to go first?" I ask.

"I'll go" Dean says confidently.

"Jessa Carter, Alicia Spinnet and Pansy Parkinson" Ron shouts.

"Easy! Kill pansy."

We all laugh.

He continues "Then kiss Alicia. And marry Jessa because I get on with her the most."

Everyone wolf whistles and I blush. A few rounds take place and it gets to my turn. Neville lists "Harry Potter, Cedric Diggory and ummm... Draco Malfoy."

Everyone's head turns to me. I turn red. Dean looks concerned with widened eyes for the decision I am about to make. He is probably worried I'll choose to marry Malfoy, but I'm not that dumb. I decide to lie "Well, kill Malfoy of course."

Everyone laughs and Dean lets out a sigh of relief. I proceeded "Kiss... Harry and then marry Cedric."

Ron jokes "Ohh Harry, she's up for round three. Maybe she'll actually like you this time."

I gasp. I can't believe he just said that. Harry looks embarrassed and we all laugh.

"I have one for Harry!" I shout. Everyone leans in "Me..."

Ron interrupts "Did you just put yourself in? Wow Harry she wants you." Everyone laughs once again. and I roll my eyes with a snort.

I continue "So me, Cho Chang and Hermione Granger."

Ron looks at me with a confused face. Hermione asks "Me?"

I nod and Ron looks at the ground with disappointment. Harry looks up into the sky to think, "So I'll kill... um..."

Hermione and I stare at him intensely as we wait for a response. Harry gulps "I'm sorry Hermione but I could never see you in a romantic way. You're one of my best friends. So I'm going to kill you..."

Everyone gasps and Hermione rolls her eyes "Oh..." she looks upset. Then all of a sudden she shows a smile upon her face "I'm joking. I'm not mad with you Harry. I understand it's just a game anyway."

Harry smiles "Okay and then kiss... you Jessa. Then marry Cho."

"Oooo. Do you like Cho then?" I question and he seems to go all shy.

"Yeah he does." Ron blurts out.

Harrylets out a nervous giggle. The game carries on for another few minutes. Ron andHermione both choose to marry each other. I really see their relationshipprogressing to something further than friends. The sun starts to set, and wesit watching the beautiful view as we have a really heart-warming conversation.We make our way back to Hogwarts and I see Malfoy on the way to the commonroom. He is with Pansy, alone. I get slightly jealous but I'm having such agood time with my friends, I try to not let it get to me. When we're in thecommon room, Harry suggests we go into their dorm. Hermione and I sneak in andwe share secrets and play games till late. We all get tired and head to bed.Today has been amazing. My happiness is at 100% right now.
