She and He: If It Didn't Go Wrong

She looks in his eyes,

She sees his heart,

He looks in her eyes,

He sees her beauty,

They stare in silence,

Just seeing the best in the other,

Thinking they don't deserve each other,

She longs for him,

But is afraid to fall,

He longs for her,

But is afraid to be wrong,

Life happens,

They both know,

If it must be,

A leap of faith must go,

She'll fall of the cliff,

He'll catch her in the end,

What if it doesn't go as planned,

She'll fall,

He'll crawl,

She'll shatter,

He'll break,

They'll never know,

Of what could've been,

For they left it all,

Even their kin,

Walked away before it began,

Never let it fall hand in hand,

She wanted him,

He wanted her,

Now they'll wonder,

How it would've been,

If it didn't all go wrong.
