You Tell Me to Change

I try and be happy,

I worry about other people,

I want them to be happy to,

Don't tell me to worry about myself,

Where will that get me,

When I am happy and joyful,

You tell me no,

No one's in the mood,

When I am no longer smiling and keep to myself,

You tell me have fun,

You tell me I don't spend enough time with the family,

Well guess what,

I am sorry you feel that way,

I am sorry you feel like I am a stuck up bitch,

Never thought you would say it to my face,

You just need to let me be me,

I won't change for you,

I can't change for you,

Accept me for who I am,

Or I will walk out of your life,

Faster than a leopard can run.
