I Need You for I am Glass

I may say I need you,

Guess what,

Its true,

I sometimes hate what you can do to me,

It's weird,

You make me happy even when I'm not,

If I was with you all the time,

I wouldn't be able to get enough of you,

You make me feel like I'm on cloud nine,

I've never felt that way,

Just please don't let me fall,

Its a long drop,

it will come fast,

I don't wanna fall,

I don't think I'd last,

I'm a glass vace,

One of a kind,

Drop me I'll break,

Shatter all over the floor,

In a million pieces I'd be,

If you let go of me,

Save me from the fall,

Save me from the hurt,

Don't let me drown,

I swear I'd swallow dirt,

Don't let me shatter,

Hold me in your arms,

Gentle and firm,

You always were great,

When it came your turn to walk,

I left you a note on your bedside,

Theres a piece of glass next to it,

With a drop of blood,

To remind you what you caused,

And what I was,

Forever now,

A broken piece,

That once belonged to a whole,

Never again allowed to feel,

For now I am a black piece of coal,

Bye for now,

Maybe next lifetime,

We can have a forever,

Let darkness wash over,

And the mirror I once was now shatter,

I'll try and be better,

I promise I will,

But for now,

Just let this body turn cold and frail,

The love you had has now been lost,

Hope someone doesn't fall as hard as I did,

Because then they'll be forever lost.
