Lies about Love

You told me you cared,

We both know that was a lie,

You told me you loved me,

I told you bye,

I told you a thousand times I love you too,

But you were so wrapped up in your own selfish life,

You didn't even care when you threw my heart away,

Remind me next time,

When I fall in love,

What that caused,

For now I have not a broken heart,

A broken soul,

My demons tried to warn me,

But that just wouldn't do,

I needed to feel heartbreak,

That's when I met you,

You have cured me of feeling,

Cured me of fear,

I no longer hide behind the glass,

For now it has been shattered,

Nothing will ever be the same,

I bleed just to feel pain,

I am sorry that you actually care,

You should have told me that before I went black,

You should have told me that before I died,

For now it shall haunt you for the rest of your life.
