I know I already did a rant about love triangles, but I need to rant about the maze runner love triangle in particular.

In the first book I didn't even know it was going to be a love triangle. I thought it was just going to be Thomas and Teresa and I was happy with that. Then in the second book Brenda shows up out of nowhere and starts liking Thomas.

What do think you're doing Brenda?!? No! Thomas is perfect for Teresa, stop trying to ruin it! You can't just waltz in here and expect Thomas to like you! It's always been Teresa and Thomas. Thomas likes Teresa and "you could never be her." Just accept it and go join the rejected club along with Gale and Jacob. Thanks! And also Brenda literally could have picked any other guy in the room but noooooo she just had to pick Thomas. I mean it's not like Thomas is the only good looking person there or anything. I mean was flat out flirting with her! Couldn't you have gotten together with Minho?

And what do think you're doing James Dashner?!?! You can't just stick in a love triangle in the 2nd book! Everyone already knows that Thomas and Teresa are perfect together so no one is going to like Thomas and Brenda together. So stop it.

And Thomas! Why Brenda?!? If you wanted a love triangle why didn't you start to like someone good? I would have been perfectly fine with Newtmas or Thominho. But Brenda? Really? You can do better.
