To Rant, Or Not To Rant

Country music

Like most teenagers, I don't like country music. But unfortunately, I have to listen to it because people in my family like it. So I do know a little about country music and stuff.

Basically all country songs are either about:
1) love
2) drinking alcohol
3) how they're proud to be country or something country like tractors or farming or fiddles

And something really annoying is that some people who listen to country music think that pop is terrible because the songs are about partying and drugs and stuff like that. While I do admit that most pop songs are pretty bad when it comes to that, but country music isn't so innocent either.

Every single song has the word beer or some other type of alcohol in it. And I mean EVERY SONG! I seriously can't think of any country song that doesn't mention alcohol in it.

And, there are also some pretty bad lyrics in country music.
For example, the song "drunk on a plane." If you haven't heard this song, it's basically about this guy getting drunk on a plane.

Um, can't people get in trouble if they get drunk on a plane? I mean, that can be dangerous for the other passengers..... Also, in the song they're talking about how they're just having a great time everyone is joining in and everything is just so happy and great. I'm pretty sure that if someone got drunk on a plane no one would be excited or starting getting drunk too. They would be disgusted. There are children on the plane! They don't need to see that! Just saying.......

And not to mention they say the f-word like three times because it's in the chorus. So.....

Yea, country music just isn't my kind of music. See ya later shanks!
