Love triangles

So the other day I was reading "the scorch trials", the 2nd book in the maze runner series. And I saw that there was a love triangle forming. Sigh.

I hate love triangles. They just cause drama in the fandom. Let's take The hunger games for example. Everyone is forced to choose between team Peeta or Gale. Team Peeta people fight with team Gale people when they really should be bonding because they both like the hunger games.

Then in the end, Katniss chooses Peeta and team Gale fans are disappointed.

Love triangles also make the main character look indecisive, whiney, and stupid. This is why I think people hate Bella from twilight so much. Since twilight is ONLY based off a love triangle that's all people see her as: indecisive, whiney, and stupid. With other series such the hunger games, there are other conflicts besides love triangles. So while people sometimes see Katniss as indecisive, whiney and stupid, they also see her an awesome heroine that won the hunger games.

In this rant I would also like to thank Divergent for not being a love triangle. Thank You for saving me from all that pain!
