The cup song trend

We all know the cup song. You can do the cup thing. Your friend can do it. Your grandma can do it. Your dog can do it.

But if you didn't know, the cup song trend started when Ana Kendrick came out with the song "cups." And the beat was played with a cup. Then everyone in the whole world decided they wanted to learn how to do that and so they did.

Before the cup song trend there was this thing called the cup GAME. It's basically the same thing but you have a line of people doing the cup thing and then when you're done you pass it to the person on your right.

In 5th grade, my AT math teacher taught us the cup game and at the end of the year, our whole class performed it in front of people. It was really fun and we all felt cool because we were the only ones that knew how do that.

Then Ana Kendrick comes out with "cups" and now everyone in the whole universe can do the cup thing. I was kinda disappointed because the cup thing was like this special thing that only our AT math class could do. Now everyone knows how to do it and I no longer feel cool.

And what really bothered me about this is that everyone thought they were so cool once they learned how to do it. No! The only reason I was cool was because no one else could do it at the time. You are not cool because you are one of the 8,000,000,000,000 that can do that. So just shut up and stop showing everyone in the galaxy that you can do the cup thing. No one cares!

Fortunately though , the cup trend is over and know everyone feels the way I do about people who still brag about that.
