Turn it off

Chapter 10

                      Corbyn's point of view
"Chloe!" I yelled while running over to where she had fallen.

"Hey are you okay?" I said as I bent down next to her.

"Yeah I think I am" She said and looked up at me.

When she looked at me I noticed her face had cuts and scraps all over it.

"What happened?" I asked as I tucked some hair behind her ear.

"I was walking and the rocks slipped and I fell." She said with a little laugh.

"Here let me help you stand up." I grabbed her arm to help her but she fell back down in pain.

"Wow what's wrong?" I asked and helped her sit back down.

"It's my leg. I didn't notice it until I stood up." She pointed at her right leg.

At this point all the guys are standing around us all waiting to help.

I rolled up her pant leg to see a big cut across her thigh.

"Ouch!" Zach says.

Chloe chuckled.
    
                        Chloe's point of view

My leg hurts so bad I can't even stand.

"Sorry I ruined the hike because I'm clumsy." I said looking down at my leg.

"Don't fell bad at all! We are all just glad you didn't get more hurt." Daniel said with a smile and placed his hand on my shoulder.

I smiled at them. I am so lucky I have such good friends.

"We need to stop the bleeding." Corbyn says as he looks at my leg.

Jonah bends down and also looks at my leg.

"We need to tie something around it until we can get back to camp." He says.

"Here we can use this." Corbyn said and took off his shirt. He carefully tied it around my leg and pulled it tightly.

I winced in pain.

"Sorry" Corbyn said and kissed my forehead.

"It's okay." I looked up at him and saw his bear chest.

"Wow" I said under my breath.

"Can you try to stand up again?" Jonah asked.

I nodded my head yes. Corbyn and Jonah each grabbed one of my arms.

I got to my feet and tried to gain my balance.

"Try to walk now." Jack said.

I took a deep breath, "Okay" l tried to take one step and almost fell again if it wasn't for Corbyn and Jonah holding my arms.

"Someone will have to carry her." Zach says.

"I can do it." Corbyn picked me up bridal style and started walking.

My body was pressing against his shirtless chest. I could feel his heart beating fast as he walked down the trail.

"When we get back we can fix your leg with actually medical supplies and not my shirt." He said breaking the awkward silence between us.

"I think the shirt works just fine." I said and we both laughed.

"I'm sorry you guys won't get to see the waterfall." I said.

"We can always go there when your leg is feeling better." He said.

After a while of walking we made it back to camp. Jonah helped me wrap my leg in bandages.

After he was done fixing me up we ate a quick dinner and I went to my tent to sleep off the days excitement.

"Hey how are you feeling?" Corbyn came into my tent and sat down next to me.

"I'm tired but my leg is feeling a bit better." I answered.

"Good, I was wondering if I could sleep in here with you again?" He asked.

"Of course you can!" I smiled and
moved over for him to lay down next to me.

He cuddled next to me and started playing with my hair.

"Sweet dreams Chloe." He said and kissed me on the head.

My eyes became heavy and I drifted off into a deep sleep.
